Why is ATS refusing to let me reply in certain thread/forum sections?

I just now wanted to reply to the thread "Why is this website accessing other ports in our computers?"
And then I get "you have no permission to post under this forum".
This is the thread I am talking about: www.abovetopsecret.com...
It was not closed at the time I tried.

I have heard others complain about similar issues as well... Seems like another ATS conspiracy to me.

I've been subscribed to that thread since it started. No problems here. Did you try to access it more than once. Sometimes there is a little glitch, I'll get the same message, then try again with no problem.

Yes, i tried several times. I even tried posting something entirely different in case I for some odd reason triggered a filter.

But then why would reply and quote button be visible?
If it was closed then they would normally disable the actual reply button as well.

Yesterday I couldn't do a reply to post or flag a thread
It was one about the woman buying groceries with food stamps.
Maybe it's just a glitch

Looks like the thread was moved to the "Board Information" forum, and regular members aren't allowed to post in that forum. Maybe it was moved to the wrong forum? A mod should be along soon.

That sounds like a reasonable answer to me.

Members don't post in Board Business.
That forum is reserved for Admin threads.
The thread in question is now where it belongs
