I've thought about the media influence during the debate season. I thought Biden was better in the debate last night, but many mainstream sources
pointed to his outlandish body language and called it a tie or a Ryan win.
The fact is the media gains from a close election, so they can't be totally trusted in analysis.
ETA: It's incredible the amount of influence that the big television channels exert on election results. We are in a culture where people come home
from work and watch TV until they decide to go to sleep.
There has to be a higher promotion of the internet as a mechanism for learning various perspectives and taking a wide range of knowledge into account
when voting. Instead of picking a favorite channel and taking the primetime host as gospel.
