FoxNews is now attacking the moderator for Ryan's bad performance.

Is this news, or comedy?

I won't be voting for either of them so I can sit back and enjoy the debates regardless of who is winning. I would say that Biden won this debate hands down. He dominated Ryan and I would guess that he was given a lot more speaking time.
Ryan was too demur and polite and needed to show more backbone. As far as closing remarks go, I give the points to Ryan. He clearly pinpointed Obama's weaknesses. Biden was rambling and just seemed to run out of steam.

Biden has been given more time this whole debate..

The mod is letting him speak over ryan and get the last word...

This martha lady is a terrible moderator... I can imagine what
her wedding obamma was at...

Would of love to have heard her toast..

Back biting her own husband, mother, and father,,,

Ryan was on key to the point and didnt act like a rude old man
he did a damn good job..

Ryan wins this one

What did I just read?
Can anyone translate this?

Sure... It says "blah blah blah... he whipped my candidate and I'm mad about it... blah, blah, blah"

Oh, it's better than that.

It says: "The debate was unfair, Biden was mean, Biden didn't let Ryan talk, the moderator was against Ryan, it's not fair that Biden is making Ryan look bad....all that said....Ryan won."

Now, I don't know how someone can complain so much about the debate being unfair to Ryan, and then declare flat out (with no specifics) that Ryan won.

Maybe that is the key. Romney/Ryan don't give out specifics, so naturally they attract people who also don't give out specifics.

It's funny, if Ryan had been the one winning and acted the exact same way that Biden acted, the republicans would be praising him and giving him virtual high-fives. But, since he lost, not only lost, but got his butt handed to him on a platter, they're all upset and angry over how Biden was viewed in their eyes

Biden came off as a cranky old man... Smeary, rude, and very jerkish..
No way he won... He did not dominate this debate at all
Sarah Palin even outsmarted biden last time around....
Biden was not beating up on a women tonight...
He just lost his VP spot..

I love how the right can't admit when they lose.

I admit it, last week Obama lost.

It's hilarious that the right wing just can't admit when they lost.

The VP debate is important.. Not as important as the presidential
debates, but they only get one shot...

Biden looked like a pompous ass to most everyone,
not presidential at all... It was sad seeing him loose it
like that,, I saw blood vessels pulsing, pumping outside his head
his temples were pounding from the face lift Ryan just gave him..

They were just praising Romney last week for being aggressive, talking over Obama, and being snarky.

Now all of a sudden, that is not Presidential. It's hilarious.

I have to agree, the first debate I thought Obama was too easy on Romney, trying not too sound undignified
I think with Romney it just doesn't work that way. Obama has to really push the facts with Romney.

I really and honestly thought Biden did a terrific job, he is a master speaker, I really think that can't be denied.

What I got from it was Biden won, but likely lost points with people from his crappy attitude. Not that would have done a thing to the Democrat base (as the comments in this thread show) Ryan needs more experience, as the debate shows.

So team Obama gains a little bit of ground, but not enough to even things out from the first debate.

My synopsis after two debates:

-Romney won the first by a big margin, and the following polls showed an overreacttion to the win.

-Biden won the second by a small margin, and the next polls will show some retraction in Romney's gains.

By the end of the next two debates, Romney's gains will be mostly wiped. The debates will have accounted for not much at all, but a small boost for Romney.

As has always been the case, the election will be decided primarily by who wins Florida, Virginia and Ohio. I believe Penn. is pretty safe for Obama. Romney was as close in Michigan as he'll get this week, he won't win there. Wisconsin is a bit more a toss up, not quite as important as the first three.

Obama will still probably win this election.

Wow no foot in mouth by Biden! I'm actually impressed and slightly proud of the VP, he's a fitting replacement in case the prez is incapacitated for any reasons. Almost feels like Biden should have been the top of the ticket with Obama second in command.

Now I'm really curious about what Obama is going to do next week. Still teleprompter-withdrawal or actually able to talk coherently and argue his points? Stay tuned

I think I agree with David Gergan on CNN on substance the debate was a draw, on style, Ryan won. Too many smirks and laughs from the Vice President. It really was one of the things I picked up on right away, too over the top, he needed to tone it down. Ryan looked alot more even tempered which I think played to his advantage. No real banana peels that either of them slipped on. As debates go, it was a pretty good one. I think both sides look at it in a positive way. I don't know how the undecided voters thought of it.

Biden is the empty suit Obama the empty chair....Hand over fist
this man just lost his job.. Biden has no style at all.

Biden lied about social security, the wars, and made up
stuff as he went... He is a shell, we can't allow this man
to be second in command.....

Just watched the whole debate !!
i would have destroyed Ryan like an insect .. but

Like Obama .. Biden did keep his calm the whole time
his smiles was telling me a lot ahah .. he didnt even had to speak to show me this
complete confidence and total control of the situation on all front
VP Joe did know what he was doing and what to say and not to say

Ryan kept drinking his water like he had a soar throat all the time

It is so easy to see who was lying and who was giving facts

if i trust my ears and eyes .. i would say the debate tonight was a DRAW
but that is an illusion .. in reality Biden really kicked Ryan ass and by far

Ryan tonight was just "posing" like in the picture below

Ryan used less time because he is a fast talker, so he makes his points quickly. Biden and Obama talk very slowly.

I'm not voting for either but I know one thing, I never trust fast talkers.
