Though Siegel says he does not feel he has the right to tell his employees how to vote, he says they need to realize what is in their best interest.

so basically
he is passive aggressively
threatening his employee's
to vote for Mittens

can anyone else say
"scumbag"

What a douchebag.

Vote for Romney or you may lose your job, typical 1%er prick trying to use his money to force people to do what he wants them to.

Its alright for unions to strong arm their members and pour cash into democratic coffers, but fair play isn't fair? Will democrats ever rise above the double-standards, or will they just cry foul when it's convenient? By the way, I think that it is wrong for an employer to try and influence a vote, but I also believe that on occassion it is necessary to level the playing field.

Or he is letting them know just how bad Obama has been for the past 4 years. Maybe they think the megarich like him are not having any problems. They are. If their job really is at risk they should know. Or would you like to be left in the dark?

People who are members of unions, generally have similar views, and unions don't threaten their members positions if they don't for X person.

What this guy is doing, is illegal and I hope that federal charges are brought against him.

Actually unions do what he did all the time. If you vote for X person they will do XYZ and you will be out of a job. the only difference is they actually tell their members WHO to vote for.

Darden has already started cutting people to part time in anticipation.

NEW YORK -- The owner of Olive Garden and Red Lobster restaurants is putting more workers on part-time status in a test aimed at limiting costs from President Barack Obama's health care law. Darden Restaurants Inc. declined to give details but said the test is only in four markets across the country. The move entails boosting the number of workers on part-time status, meaning they work less than 30 hours a week. Under the new health care law, companies with 50 or more workers could be hit with fines if they do not provide basic coverage for full-time workers and their dependents. Starting Jan. 1, 2014, those penalties and requirements could significantly boost labor costs for some companies, particularly in low-wage industries such as retail and hospitality, where most jobs don't come with health benefits. Darden, which operates more than 2,000 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada, employs about 180,000 people. The company says about 75 percent of its employees are currently part-timers. Bob McAdam, who heads government affairs and community relations for Darden, said the company is still learning from the tests, which was first reported by the Orlando Sentinel.

Lets face it people, companies can't afford to eat theses costs especially in this economy. Obamacare is another factor that is going to hurt the economy.

This guy has all the skills to become a slave owner.

Corporations have too much power in your country, yet some of Americans think it's all about right vs. left.
