Might as well add this fine, upstanding Republican to the list: Wisconsin Republican Roger Rivard -- "Some girls rape easy."

It baffles me that Republicans spend so much time talking about women and new ways to restrict them -- that's a losing tactic if I heard one.

The other losing tactic - injecting God into everything politics. I swear the dumbest people I know are super religious, therefor I can ascertain that anyone in the GOP party thumbing a bible has $hit/for/brains.

Yes and what she meant is

you have to pass the bill before you... (see how wonderful it really is and all the good things that are in it)

She did not mean that she hadn't read it.
Democrats can read.

If as you say she was saying lets pass this bill so we know what it says,
and she actually did not read it...

I ask you, Why would Nancy Pelosi tell a roomful of people she hadn't read it?

Like I said, you're rewriting history and literally INVENTING context where it didn't exist. This all happened just a few years ago...and as much as ADD has gripped a nation and people seem to imagine 2009 as some far distant time (I know..events have been Earth changing since...it's easy to lose that perspective) I recall this from hearing it AT THE TIME IT WAS BROADCAST. I recall the context and don't need you to TELL me what I heard as a full report back then.

I also can't forget the cartoon size gavel this sorry piece of garbage brought to "Bang in" the Obamacare nightmare WITH... or the crowds of pissed off people she had to cross to carry that ridiculous prop in on the last night they sealed our fate with this crap.

In addition, who can ever forget the way Democrats literally LOCKED OUT Republicans PHYSICALLY from almost every meeting dealing with the formation of Obamacare. If we'd like to say I'm inaccurate about that....prepare for an AVALANCHE in return to bury that argument about 50 feet down. I'd enjoy the hell out of that door being opened..but couldn't get away with the volume of material I'm bringing to defend an accusation I lied on it.

So... You can tell me she was kidding as you'd like to imagine she was....but I recall the VENOM and HATE this bitter little witch had and OPENLY had for everyone further right than herself on ANYTHING related to HER baby of healthcare with Obama. She said what she said and given the fact HER OWN PEOPLE were makinf fun of the VERY IDEA of reading the bill....She meant every last pathetic word she uttered, as it sounded.

It's a bitch when the people we elect to lead us betray us SO deeply...but She is among a few who absolutely HAVE...and Party lines don't contain the rot and stench she's a part and part time leader of.

Presumed witch? We don't presume Nancy is a witch. We know she is a witch

Check this out. Proof is in the picture

You're missing ONE thing to make the picture of her in her other job perfect.

You need to add that absurd 'pearl' necklace she is almost never seen in public without some variation of. Always has one....so how can she not have it when she's at her job as Wicked Witch of the West?

Perhaps when she's off riding broom sticks and hexing young children her necklace is more along the lines of little orbs holding the souls she's stolen along the way.

I believe most politicians in the Democrat and Republican parties don't care about the U.S. or US citizens, and most if the rest of them just plain hate the US and its citizens. They love their money and their power. They like their dirty secrets not being released by those controlling them.

These "crazies" in the Republican party truly are either crazy, or extremely gullible and uneducated, but it makes no difference to me. They are no less scum than their more reality-based Democratic counterparts who have greater reasoning skills and knowledge than the average 3rd grader.

Yes, it is shocking how stupid these people are, and it is offensive that they hold any job paying above minimum wage, but I can't give them Dems any points for this one, because they've both (parties) been at war with the U.S. (in earnest) since the Kennedy Assassination.

Gee, if I had started a thread like this about the looney left, it would have been deleted and I would have gotten penalized, again.

Where are the rogue mods when you need them?

There's a difference between having a political opinion that's stupid and someone claiming the earth is 9000 years old, or other nonsense

Some people believe the poor should be helped by the rest of society...some don't. Both arguments have some merit. The 9000 year old earth theory is just plain stupidity because it isn't based on facts, on the contrary, it's a bat# crazy clownish uneducated statement.

Same goes for claiming a global flood happened, or claiming people in biblical times lived hundreds of years

Sadly that's just what a lot of those GOP crazies do. And in the process, they change their party from one that has a certain political opinion to one that is ANTI FACTS!

By the way, if your best defence of those lunatic statements is "oh look, the other side has stupid people too"...well...how on earth does that make it any better?

I couldn't help but laugh at how you put that. It's so true.... Looking at one's own bad behavior or party or side and saying it's any less than it is because the other side does the same really isn't a good thing to be saying.

It's basically admitting....My side is screwed..your side is screwed..so why shouldn't we all just be content with being screwed together.
I can't help it. Something about how you put that just strikes a chord.

Time is relative and science will soon have an acceptable explanation for these biblical references that don't make sense to some people.

What about the idiot lefty that thinks a certain island will "tip over and capsize" if it keeps getting "overly populated" ?

What's your proof for any of your claims about time??? Clearly there is ZERO proof so far, so are you simply hoping they'll confirm your irrational beliefs? Because there really is no evidence whatsoever supporting your claims.

To me it seems you actually agree with those nutjob 9000 year old earth claims...and your "best defence" is to simply claim "look, others got stupid people too". That's your best defence? Really?

I am sorry you and many others feel that way. I have studied politicians in FL and NY for about 40 years and I see the same pattern over and over again. There are many good and honest people in public office, people who fight for individual freedoms and civil rights fight diligently, constantly, and honorably without any reason for apology or shame.

Granted many are useless and have overstayed their welcome but people who say that the government is a disaster because they are an interference don't know what they are speaking about.

The government was a disaster for the middle class recently because people in politics saw their golden goose and decided to exploit it by carrying on activities outside of government regulations and taking full advantage of loopholes. When government steps in and decided to close those loopholes naturally the guilty are going to scream government intervention is hurting them. The middle class needs as much government intervention as they can get and the wealthy want none of it because they do not need the government protections. The middle class, being more vulnerable does.

It bothers me that good and decent people doing incredible work are not recognized or counted simply because they are not blowhards who toot their own horn and lord their accomplishment over others and to the press. And because people are reading snippets of newspaper stories over the years and so consider them selves educated or knowledgeable in the workings of government without really doing the legwork and investigating exactly who and what groups and measures is responsible for the legislation's they either love or hate. It is easy to blame government and politicians overall for the dastardly actions of a few.

There are people fighting to steal your freedoms away while others are fighting to give it back to you. You should learn to tell the difference. I find people who blanket assess groups of people are disillusioned and damaged by others close to them. Ineffective themselves, they consider everyone else ineffective as well, and they have lost faith in the goodness of human nature. That is very sad and disappointing and it is easy to get that impression sometimes but simply untrue.

There are lots of good people fighting tirelessly, without reward or recognition, to keep you free. You should not only recognize them, you should find out who they are, support them and you should thank them.

I'm re-writing history. I think that's rather dramatic. How so?

You simply misunderstood her.

Are you saying that it is impossible and you know for a fact Nancy Pelosi did not read the bill?

Is that what you expect me to believe?

Another crazy convoluted don't take my Bible away theory based in nothing but fairy tales!!! It is an epidemic of ignorance and there is simply no way to reconcile it with modern life. I am ready to burn all those freaking books myself.

Thanks and very true. Star for you. Actually there are quite a few lunatics that did not make the list because... well I work nights and I really didn't put all the time I could have searching the crazies and their insane ideas. If I wanted to, I think I could still be writing about the far right, wrongs. You have to end it at some point after people get the general drift.

The party of "small government"...unless of course you're talking about dictating people's sex life or waging war, in that case it's all about spending.

911 happens and a bit over 3,000 people die => trillions being spent on wars
Over 3,000 people die of food poisoning every year => cut funding for the FDA
Handing billions to Wall Street at 0% interest => totally ok
Handing money directly to the people (which has a better economic effect!) => communism!!

Makes perfect sense, no?

Bunch of hypocritical sock puppets!

The most hilarious thing is the recent Biden vs Ryan debate. Ryan lied through his teeth the entire time...and how did they defend themselves? By pre-emptively telling the media "if you call us a liar you're an angry old/black man", and "just look at him smiling"

Clowns of the earth...

No doubt....and this Phil Davison clown. He's some low-level county treasurer douche...but this might be the most hilarious 5 min. of GOP video footage you have ever or WILL EVER see....

Enjoy.

One thing that annoys me more than anything else is:

Explaining the difference to people of what a liberal and a socialist is, many times to the same poster, only for the libel to continue unabbated. I guess by calling most liberals "socialists" that allows the far right lunatics with their middle age view of government, to get away with their elitist driven agenda of privitising everything under the sun and destroying any and all forms of social welfare.

All for the benefit of having an enormous military-industrial complex to be able to go to war at a moments notice. As for laissez faire capitalism I think both want that and it shows with their actions. Multinational companies totally immune from anti-trust legislation. Banks getting trillions of dollars with the fake hope of creating jobs, when all they had to do was increase tariffs.

So basically all I hear are sex scandal allegations and birth control issues. What a way to say "I agree with the beorgoise screwing me over" with so many strawman obfuscations. Pathetic!
