Just less than 18 minutes until he steps onto that itty bitty little step and jumps!

I sure wouldn't want to float away on a balloon whose skin is "1/10th as thick as a sandwich bag."

Faster than a speeding bullet!

They still have the face plate heat problem.

Edit - Update - New Record Holder! - Highest in a Balloon - check - done.

record is set for alt, now hope he jumps

Maybe they at least wanted to set that record before they might have to scrub

I would like a photo of the camera lens they are using for that shot from ground!!

Not sure if anyone has the answer... But could his visor crack without the heater working once he jumps?

Not sure what effect the heater failure would have on visor, cracking sounds like a distinct possibility

They are going through the egress steps; but, he's sounding drunk and responding slowly.

Edit - Update #1 - He reached "127822 feet 38960 meters altitude" and now the altitude is going down.

Edit - Update #2 - He reached over 129000 feet, then they depressurized to 128,000 feet. He jumped after ascending for 2 hours and 37 minutes.

Edit - Update #3 - Freefall Countdown - he's concerned that his visor is fogging up - shoot deployed after 4 minutes and 9 seconds of freefall. They call it at 4 mintes and 22 seconds. They say he did not break the record for time in freefall.

Edit - Update #4 - "I need directions." He needed wind directions to direct where he lands. "Drop smoke." He needed a visual on the wind.

He's down and Safe!!!
