This is odd (though sure it is). Haven't heard a word from him in 15 minutes, though we are seeing him okay. I mean we were watching the conversaton with felix and control for an hour and nothing since he said he had a serious question (he did you the word serious himself)

I would have thought at this point, we'd want to hear how his feeling. i mean this is a huge day. And nothing beats connecting the viewer to the emotions than hearing words from the man.

For all you scence/tech people;

He is now at 67.000 feet but when you factor in the windchill, it's just like 200 miles up which is 3 times farther than the moon.

Just trying to keep it technical.

Are you talking about the pressure or are you trolling my friend?

At its closest point, known as the perihelion, the Moon is only 363,104 km (225,622 miles). And at its most distant point, called aphelion, the Moon gets to a distance of 406,696 km (252,088 miles).

Maybe he can knock it down a few pegs while he's up there.

You can see the breath on the glass as he exhales, so it's still an issue.

And the commentator just mentioned it. He said they don't know the real issue yet. that's because they have cut us from the control room where they are troubleshooting.

Getting close-ish now.
