Happy Columbus Day!

As you all are aware, Christopher Columbus (also known as "Spanky" by his friends) discovered the Easter Bunny Island and invented the microwave oven, which he used to kill the indians.

This day is very contraversial and many have used their one day off to either eat microwave popcorn, or to swat tiny kittens with spatulas. (A tradition Columbus brought from his homeland of Denver, Colorado)

Have a great day and I welcome your thoughts. I would like to add that my 9 year old son helped in the research of this thread.

And a happy tiny kitten swatting with a spatula day to you and yours as well. I, unfortunately, must work.

Tell your son it a mighty fine researched thread.

It's Thanks Giving in Canada and I am working the midnight shift

I'm a 8:30-17:00 Monday-Friday type person but I did my boss a favor and came in due to certain clients from over seas who may need some documents submitted.

Oh well, it works out to double time and a half if you count the stat pay and the time and a half for hours worked. I am sipping green tea and have a case of beer waiting for me in my fridge when I get home.

No turkey for me since my family went out of town this week but that's okay. I have lots to give thanks for.

Cheers

ETA: Happy Columbus Day!

Good for you! Yeah, at best, Columbus is now known for killing island people and bringing tobacco to europe.

*cough*

Thanks, Chris!

Hmm, thanks giving day in america is all about theft and murder from the indians.

I thought it was all about turkey and football.

Theft and murder of the indians was just something that happened in that "history time".

Yep the europeans destroyed a good life for them. They had peace and prosperity living off the land. Only to have their land stolen and pillage. Sad day on this rock.
