Erdogan Tells Turks To Prepare For Syria War If Necessary

The Turkish PM has called on Turkey to be ready for war with Syria if it becomes necessary-

"You have to be ready at every moment to go to war if it is necessary. If you are not ready for this, you are not a state, if you are not ready for this, you are not a nation,” Erdogan said in a speech on Sunday.

The prime minister reiterated that Turkey does not want war, but warned Syria not to test its resolve.

"Nobody should attempt to test Turkey's decisiveness and sensibility,” stated the Turkish prime minister

The back and forth strikes have persisted over the last few days and one thing really stands out as not adding up. Let's think about the situation-

- Syria is under attack from the 'rebels'.

- The Syrian Army is literally fighting a war against the 'rebels' for control of the country.

- Given the Syrian army is already occupied with dealing with the 'rebels', why would Syrian forces start shelling Turkish territory? It doesn't make any strategic sense whatsoever.

On Sunday, Turkey's military fired an artillery shell into Syria shortly after a mortar round fired from Syria hit the southeastern Turkish border town of Akcakale.

These back and forth strikes could lead to an all out war with Turkey if they carry on as they are. So with the Turkish PM's statement, why is Syria continuing to fire mortars into Turkey?

Either, Assad and his forces want war with Turkey, which seems unlikely, or it is indeed the 'rebels' themselves carrying out the attacks to incite cross border tensions to escalate into all out Turkish military intervention.

Which seems more likely? The Syrian forces know they don't stand a chance if Turkey gets involved, so why would they be launching attacks against Turkey? It doesn't really add up does it?

If i recall correctly, initial reports stated that it was indeed the rebels who fired on Turkey. As you said, there is nothing to gain for Assad to bomb Turkey. On the other hand, the rebels have everything to gain by doing so.

The Turkish PM, Erdogan, is a hardline Islamist (he served time in Turkish prison for such views) so it is no surprise that he's happy to support the assorted Taliban, Al Qaeda & Western Islamic 'freedom' fighters against Syria.

Erdoğan was banned from office and sentenced to a ten-month prison term for reciting a poem during a public address in the province of Siirt in 1997.

Not only but Turkeys "response" is legal if it is "defending itself". Ay idea what the shelling is targeting from the Turkish side? They just keep shooting at ... something.

Interesting the way they announce these things. Turkey is responding? To what, exactly? The mortar crew that slipped up? Schools, hospitals, KFC?

I remember seeing video splashed of a supposed puff of smoke in Turkey on a street but little else in the way of evidence. This looks staged to me.

Now lets think about this. Syria has internal problems with "rebels" who want to bring down his government. Being a sovereign nation he as the head of the Syrian government has a right to put his house in order as he likes. In a nut shell that is the situation.

Now , What strategic reason would Syria have to attack Turkey and provoke war with her? I say NONE. This smells like a provocation like all the rest we have witnessed in this region.

Attack on Iraq was because Saddam was helping Al Qaida and had the "Bibi Bomb" hidden from inspectors. Shortly after eliminating him we find out that neither pretexts to war was true. There are other brilliant examples based on this same 3-act play.

The HumanSlayer HAVE every reason to bomb Turkey and do more harm.

Turkey had been supportive of their neigbouring muslim people, welcomed them and gave them protection.

It is against the very grain of what that humanslayer is standing for. He wants to instill his rule of fear into his own citizens, if not WIPING them out totally. No one is allowed ANY safe sanctuary outside of Syria, and those who do, will be bombed, with forked tongue apologies to neighbouring states.

Thus the continued skyfall of mortars by the monster, regardless if it hits on syrian refugees or turkish citizens, the way they had been indiscriminate in bombing cities and villages to slaughter innocent men, women and children in Syria.

Today, the pipeline of gas from Iran supplying to Turkey had been bombed. It was often blamed upon Kurdish rebels, who took pride in admitting to such acts. But not today. SO who bombed the pipeline?

The bombing was a response to Turkey's latest stand on Syria - to fight back. And it came from Satan's minions - Persian apostate leaders, who are supporting their fellow devil - humanslayer Assad. The message is clear from Satan - STAY OUT OF SYRIA !

Are turk muslim that docile? They seem to have been very vocal about protecting Islam, protesting, burning properties and even sending their men to join radical jihadhist militant groups to kill innocent people.

So why are they protesting against the leader of Turkey and any future war with Syria? Are the turk muslims only capable of bullying children of the book and the west - fellow humans who worshipped the same common Creator but will not fight back? And in the face of real aggression by Satan, the turk muslims cowerer in fear and hide?

Was this how Islam had been preached?

For decades, anti-USA had been rife, and blamed as the great satan, by Khomeni after his failed attempt to seize Mecca in the famous siege of Mecca. The simple and largely uneducated Middle East people had been fed with half truths and lies to whip anti US sentiments.

Where are the proofs? None! Except for some opinions or rants by others, myths about alphabet agencies doings and research papers of the past, or some irresponsible blogger with an axe to grind against America. So where are the EVIDENCES? none.

It's ok to hate americans. Americans are no angels, more so those tourists who disdain or their overwhelming condesencion upon 3rd world nations and blunt direct straightforward style of talking. So too MANY OTHER citizens from other nations as well, such as China, Russia, Europe, Asia, Australia, India, Africa, etc.

Those traits are a common trait amongst humans. But such humans are not representatives of their nations. If USA's innovative and brave citizens had not sacrifices themselves and helped our world in the 40s and ever since till even now, today europe will be speaking in german and asia including china speaking japanese. The american people as a whole had done more good than bad.

So are they the great satan as the persian apostate infidel leaders are claiming?

The great satan and his minions are the ones whom had been and are now slaughtering innocent human beings in our world. True muslims know who are they and yet they dare not voice out, for they fear Satan, and thus fear Allah less, fully comprehensible.

Fortunately, the good prophet Muhammad had never fear Satan and his minions, challenge them and won. May true muslims take heart and lessons from the prophet, draw strengths from him, and stand up for Islam where it truly counts - from the heart and not for physical forms of piousity.

Muslims and Jews share the same ancestor - Abraham, loved by Allah, just as all are. Together, Muslims, Jews, Christians, and every mainstream religion who worships the same common Creator, known by many names across cultures, time and space, are INVINCIBLE as one human race against all enemies.....
