Sometimes I just feel like Stan from South Park, I refuse to vote between a douche and a turd. Trey Parker and Matt Stone say it perfectly. I still would rather have Obama than Romney. I hate having to settle though, just wish we could come up with better alternatives..

What I've lost faith in, is how divided the elections cause the people to become. Makes me sad.
Oh why can't we just bring back Bill?

I'd lose faith in the governments ability to operate correctly, rather than the people whose vote is not even counted. How many times do people need hear this? They rig elections and purchase laws and regulations of their choice.

So why would you be mad at the sheep, if they're being led by the wolves?

How have you not lost faith prior to now? I'm being serious. This country has been going down the #ter for awhile government wise. If Obama wins is that going to change? No. It'll still be #ty and it'll still get #tier but that really has nothing to do with Obama at least not directly. No matter who is elected, as long as it's one of candidates of the two party system then the outcome is the same because they have no power to direct change without the unseen hand behind the curtain pulling their strings. The people pulling their strings? Those people are the wealthy elite directing the president through the money they use to help his campaign. As long as corporations can fund elections they will have rule of law through the president. Most, if not all of the decisions the president makes influence money. That won't change if Romney is elected, and it won't necessarily improve if he's elected either. If anything else the money will just be directed to other "investors". The majority of the public are still the ones at the short end of the stick though. If you don't recognize this now, you will if/when your beloved candidate wins.

The truth is, if people want change, then they have to vote for something different. People can't vote for what they are presented because they have an ignorance of what isn't. Voting between the two party members that might as well be anyone simply because it is the most obvious choice presented to the majority of people. The only reason it's either one of any two party members that could be anyone, is that whomever is part of the two party system is financially backed by corporations that can also provide influence through connections with the mainstream media. In other words the majority of the American public is too lazy to educate themselves on the candidates that don't have enough financial backing to be advertised in the media or the campaign trail.

If you want actual change, educate yourself. Then vote for what you believe in instead of voting for what is presented to you and listening to the anonymous media voice saying, "choose between these two jerks, obviously you have to choose between these two."

Even if you lose, at least you voted for what you believed in, and if the world goes to #, at least you can say that you didn't blindly allow it to happen.

Obama is a disaster. I said the same thing about Bush and then the Democrats went and nominated John Kerry. Romney is the first candidate since 2001 that I'm excited about.

I liked Reagan and Clinton but Bush and Obama are horrible.

Romney will turnaround the mess and he will go after the debt. Romney doesn't like debt and that's great. At Bain, co-workers called him conservative and careful with other people's money. He turned deficits into a surplus at the Olympics and Mass. His sons call him cheap.

Obama will do nothing about the debt and will add to it because he wants to put in place his social programs that will transform America.

Obama is out to destroy the basic struxtures of America. This all stems from Black Liberation Theology. They see the problem as whiteness and whiteness is represented by America.

So Obama says the Constitution is fundamentally flawed, he says he's bringing us collective salvation and that Americans need to sacrifice in order to reach a new age. This is why Rev. Wright said GD America. America is guilty in the eyes of Black Liberation Theology and we need to be fundamentally transformed.

You said Obama sees the problem as "whitness". Hell, I'm WHITE, and I see the problem as "whiteness" too.

Everyone says Obama is a sociolist, a radical, etc etc. That wouldn't be half-bad.

You know, some of us , even if we are a minority, recognize that the Western Influence , including elitism, and the international banksters that run this world, are part of the PROBLEM, not the solution. The powers that be don't care for Obama, because unlike Romney, he doesn't quite kiss their ass as much as most Presidents are supposed to. Nonetheless, he IS still a puppet of TPTB.

But yea, I agree , "whiteness" IS the problem. America is a great country, and it can be a million times better if we did some "radical" things......such as completely re-write our foreign policy, stop intefering with, and creating wars in the middle east, STOP SUPPORTING ISRAEL, found a balance between socialist programs and capitalistic venture. Yes, capitalism IS a huge part of the problem. Government SHOULD regulate, and some things need to be state/government run.

Romney is everything that is wrong with America. Not quite as much as Bush was though.

I would love to vote for someone who would take action for the good of the country instead of the good of a party. Not possible though....if you vote independent you waste your vote as the party is not large enough. You are left with voting for the lesser of two evils....sorry to say.

I disagree entirely. Considering the President is elected on electoral votes, which don't necessarily have to reflect the popular vote.....then the whole POINT of the general population voting is to show the world OUR opinion. It isn't to put someone in office, it is to make a statement.

Kind of like when we elected Obama. We the people, were saying that we wanted CHANGE. It wasn't Obama we were voting for, it was what he was promising, if that makes sense.

I personally don't vote for presidency, that is MY statement. I make a point of letting everyone I know, KNOW that I DON'T VOTE, that is my RIGHT as a U.S. Citizen, and it is my public statement that I will NOT vote, because I believe the whole system is a racket. I don't believe in the validity of the elections. I don't believe the people really have a choice. I don't believe we should have to choose between Red or Blue, Democrat or Republicans, Crips or Bloods, etc etc.

If you do, however, believe in the third party, the independent, you SHOULD vote for them. My point is, your vote is NEVER wasted, if you are truly voting for who you believe in.

Lose faith? Are you crazy? Disillusioned? Deceived?
Who trashed the economy? Who actively is trying to trash the economy more to gain the white house? What party committed treason to win an election? What party needs a propaganda machine to convince people to vote against their own interests? What party committed election fraud to elect Bush 2?

Get off the Fox News crack and start thinking for yourself. You may not realize it but like all cult members your mind is being controlled.

Yep, I agree totally.

Have you noticed how STRONGLY republicans dislike democrats, and how STRONGLY democrats dislike republicans? What about the battle between liberals and conservatives?

These days, just for stating your opinion on ANY issue, someone is bound to attack you and label you a dem, or a lib, or a right wing nut, or whatever whatever. It is ALL labels.

The truth is, the dems, the republicans, and the powers that control them both via puppet strings LOVE the energy of hate both sides have for each other. All that energy is energy they harvest, via the election polls. People don't realize yet, on a large scale , that they are BOTH sides of the same coin, and here we are arguing over which abusive master is going to treat us slaves better. give me a #ing break.

Wake up!!!!
When you don't vote you have been controlled because one party doesn't want you to vote. The fewer people that vote the more likely it is that they will win. This is the Republican party. So, if they can befuddle your mind and make everything look grey to you, they win. Don't kid yourself and think this is your choice. You have been manipulated.

Plan to reduce so far...kill pbs

Sure..he is a fiscal conservative.

You are ignorant. It shows in your post. I know exactly where your at politically.
You watch a little TV. Listen to the morons on Fox, NBC or CBS maybe. Listen to morons at the water cooler that are totally clueless. Then come here and say that all politicians are the same.

You really need to educate yourself and not settle for this lazy thinking. It's very easy to generalize and say they're all the same. But you know deep down this is silly. They are not the same and people should really take the time to understand the differences. Our future depends on it.

You serious?

If Romney is elected, it will be the end of the USA. If you want to continue being Israel's bitch, go right ahead and vote for him. He is stuck in a Cold War mentality, whereby he is paranoid and sees every foreign country as an enemy.

If Romney is elected, it will be destructive, not only for the US, but for the world.

This.

Good for you for distrusting both Obama and Bush, but kind of a fail for trusting Romney then, who us surrounding himself with all of Bush's people. To expect anything different than the "conservative" policies of both Bush administrations (I.e. Massive debt increases and involvement in wars with nothing to gain -at least for the nation itself.)

Your whole post would fit perfectly into 'posting faux fas' posted today.
This was my point to why I hate elections..
Name calling, low blows, insults, all because someone doesn't see eye to eye with you on who to vote for.
Can't we all be nice and learn to agree to disagree? Instead of bashing someone for not seeing like you?
& that goes to anyone on here low blowing others for seeing differently.. Can't we see how this is tearing the people apart? Geez.. I wish we could all be mature enough to be nice about thus situation...

I don't want you to see it like me, that was not the point. The point is to urge you really research what is going on and not base your political views on poor journalism and/or lazy thinking.

I personally believe that if everyone really understood what was going on that there would be very little disagreement.

I'm no fan of Bush, Obama, Romney, as they are all just puppets that are in the pockets of powerful lobbyists. I find your statement ''Obama is out to destroy the basic structures of America'' very interesting, because judging from that statement, you'd like to revert back to the good old days, where only white guys with money, land, and/or political connections, had any real rights. I come to this deduction, because you mentioned Black Liberation Theology. Do you realize that the VAST majority of today's black people have no idea what that even is? Obama hasn't done a damn thing to liberate me, you, or anyone else. You also mentioned ''they see the problem as whiteness and whiteness is represented by America''. Who the hell are ''they'', someone black, such as myself? I don't see whiteness as a problem, so I guess I must be an anomaly. You revealed some of yourself when you stated ''whiteness is represented by America''. Seems like you're full of yourself, champ. And don't be naive, Mitt Romney is just like the rest of them, all show, and no go. This crazy train has been on a descension since post 911, even before that, since 1913. Obama happens to be the conductor at the moment. You should have lost faith way before now.
