If the article says WHO have done X, Y or Z and WHO have said nothing of the sort, then the article is made up. Susanne Posel, the author, is demonstrating how to be a bad journalist. I just Googled that topic and found nothing of substance except the usual suspects that print and reprint such wild stories.

My understanding is there is not much genetic difference if any between most Jews and Arabs. So that would be shooting yourself in the foot and losing most of your toes if that virsus is really from Israel. Maybe the European Jews would not catch it, but those things do mutate.

the OP's article is a hoax based on the actual facts. There is not ethnic virus.

There is, however, a SARS like virus that has infected someone from the middle east and, as a result, the WHO is cautioning people who have been in contact with people from the region.

Genetically there is very little difference between the vast majority of Jews, even Ashkenazi Jews, and Palestinians and other Arabs.

This was first established by a genetic study carried out back in 2000 and more recent and in depth studies have only served to support this.
