Most of us who cook alot have found ourselves in situations where we were just shy of 1 ingredient to finish a recipe?

I found this today, so read up and don't worry about necessarily running back out to the store for something you might be missing.

Some interesting tips on substituting certain ingredients.

The only one that seemed odd to me is this one:

For: 1 whole egg

Use: 2 egg yolks plus 1 Tbsp water

If you have 2 egg yolks, why wouldn't you have 1 whole egg?
