I'll agree entirely that the Defense budget is far larger than it ought to be or needs to be in my view...and most of that is on R&D and maintenance
of forces. Although I really have no clue where some of those numbers came from...and there is something else.. If one wants to see what the numbers

Nothing is really hidden except for that classified black side and in a budget of many trillions, even 60 billion makes little difference in the
overall picture. However much that 60 stands out to some.
Umm.. it's a small thing... really, probably petty, too but something just rubs me wrong as an American to listen to a lengthy video about how bad my
Department of Defense and spending on National Security is....while looking at an Al Jazeera badge in the corner of the video the whole time. It's
would be similar, I'd imagine, to a fair and well made documentary in the Middle East that is more accurate than not.......but carrying a Voice of
America badge in the same spot.
There is something to be said about source in context, even if the message may have some good points in the mix.
