Congrats on your decision to go back to school, Cajun Boy! It will be good to have someone sensitive to environmental and human concerns, working in the industry.

The
helicorders show that the micro-earthquake activity has been fairly active over the past 24 hours, but I can't find any notifications of recent ground subsidence, so that's good.

It was noted on the Inspection Reports from the 15th, 16th & 17th ( found here ), that there is a new, mild, but persistent bubbling between ORW#12 and TBC#2 at the submerged platform near the wellpad at Oxy#3.
Here are some photos they posted:

It's possible it is from a leak in the piping, but more likely just another spot where gas is migrating to the surface along fractures.

Flyover 6/18/13

June 15, 2013
1:15 p.m. Update
Texas Brine has reported to us that the Oxy 3 cavern floor is now at 3,793′, which is an 18′ rise from last week’s tagging. According to the information we have, this would mean that there is 143′ left to fill the cavern to it’s roof. We will post additional information as it becomes available.

Another vent well being put in also

June 18, 2013
2:30 p.m. Update
Texas Brine has reported to us that they are beginning the next Observation Vent Well (ORW 38) which is north of the BC-2 pressure well on Sauce Piquante Lane. We have not been presented with any other specific plans for the area; however, it’s our understanding that they are being developed.

I see that the property taxes are going to skyrocket around there. Lots of new lakeshore property being created. The good thing is that you won't have to pay those lakeshore property taxes very long....You Won't have to pay property taxes at all after a few years.
