I didnt see it as a bash on Obama, but they did use him, as a backdrop.

The tiny country of Palau decided to leave America and separated from us years ago. America being a good big brother was giving them millions every year to help them go free. They were supposed to get their last check from America in September 2009.

All of the sudden Palau told Obama they wanted $200 Million or they were siding with China. Obama gave them $250 Million and free millions every year until 2034.

You probably won't have to look too hard to see some of that Palau blood money coming back to Obama's hands.

Would you be surprised if it wasn't Obama in the first place who TOLD them to do that stint a few years ago in the first place???

I have a feeling that we will never get past it.

Sure we will. We just need the baby boomer's to die off for starters. It won't 100% resolve racism...but it will be a HUGE step forward.

Secondly, assuming modern society continues more or less along the trajectory that it has been on the last 500 years or so race will become largely irrelevant in the future as the races have been inexorably merging together and interbreeding. Sooner or later everyone will be a little golden brown (especially in the melting pot of the US).

I think it will be a long long time.

Even when racism isn't actually present, someone will blame someone for it just to further their agenda.

Oh...no doubt it will persist for a hell of a long time. However, sooner or later it WILL go by the wayside if for no other reason than the "races" have melded together.
