This rapper, hopsin is just recently getting attention. Most of his lyrics follow the same style as eminem; if you google "black eminem" thats who comes up. Good beats, imaginative lyrics, original videos(he always wears those contacts) all the ingredients for a big name rapper.

Now what makes me bring him up in the NWO forum?
Its subtle in his main stream songs, like for example the video I posted above contains these lyrics, "I’m just an idiotic ironic symbolic illuminatic product
That’s gonna be killed if I talk about it (shhh!)"

Now thats not very proactive, but just to point out this is his single. There are plenty of rappers with a political overtone, but usually the singles that get attention will be the songs that don't focus on politics. (i.e. Immortal Technique) As I will show, many of his other song have alot to say about the Illuminati, inter-scope records involvement with Zionists, etc. But this is his POPULAR SINGLE. Its all over facebook.Back in Highschool and undergrad, most of my peers didn't wanna hear anything to do with politics. Just that he can add lines like the one quoted in a video thats got 20million views is impressive. Not because he's still alive, but because its popular and still endorses political views.

Sure there have been other rappers to call out the douche bags, but this guy is aiming directly at the music/media industry. Maybe thats why Gucci Mane signed him so others couldn't and then didn't let him release anything? He talks alot about Interscope records, so it will interesting if they use their pull to keep him under. but with youtube and the internet is that even possible?

I really dislike this guy.

He's a fake. He is not real. He only says what he thinks is cool, and he sucks at rapping and is corny and it all sounds so forced. He was an actor in a Disney show btw.

He will not be killed because nothing what he said matters or will ever matter.

No hate but this guy is less of a threat than artists like Chuck D, KRS-ONE, Early Canibus, Mos Def, Immortal Technique, Diabolic, Ice Cube, Talib Kweli, Rakim, Pharaoh Monch, etc; Lupe Fiasco is probably the newest cat to join those ranks.

Art, as a rule, attacks the establishment and there are plenty of artists with a much broader reach than this artist. I think his social commentary is more significant that his political stance.
