I received an email with a very interesting Power point slide show of pictures and wanted to share with ATS.

After advice from Chat and a thread I started I would like to thank grobbi77 for showing me how to convert a PPS file to jpeg files
and allowing me to share this with you.

I find stuff like this fascinating and thought others would like it as well.

Enjoy!

Looks like you've left everyone speechless!

Absolutely awesome pictures - thank you for sharing. We definitely live on a most amazing planet.

You've got me planning my next vacation. Geiser Black Rock Desert is absolutely surreal. Doesn't actually look like it should be on this planet and I could do that one on a road trip.

I am glad now that I took the time to learn how to upload these and share them with you all.

The world is an amazing place, and now at least we can see a small part of it on our computers

I'll round up some more at a later date, after I convert them to JPGs.

Nice pics showing nature's beauty.

Imagine if some of those pics came back from Mars, the UFO guys and gals would be all over them. Food for thought. Those domes look like man made structures.

I am in awe of this planet! That photo of that cliff in Norway is completely crazy. Bad place to tie one on (get drunk), for it is a loooong way down.

Am I see Brimham Rock correctly? Is it balanced on top of a small apex on the rock below it or is it part of the same rock? WOW, how has that not tipped over? Pure awesomeness while insanely crazy.

Nature has a tendency to blow ones mind! Laws of physics, out the window...

picture number 8 reminds me of an mysterious creature sighting in 2009 that was under that rock hiding. The creature sighting was seen and was taken a photo of from a helicopter hovering by. Does any one know what I'm talking about?

Awesome thread!

Some of these I had never even heard of.

I absolutely love wave rocks. I don't know what it is about them but I find the effect to be so neat.

Thanks for all the flags and stars.

You know as they say a picture is worth a thousand words!

That James Bond island one is something else.

I'll try and round up a few more today!

You seem to have a affinity for desert scapes. They are austere and stunning.

Not sure if you're interested but there is a place called Sky City in NM. Oldest pueblo village that is still lived in, as far as I know. It's worth a peek.

These are amazing.

I have also heard that the Arch in Utah is near falling. They've had huge chunks come out of it several times in the last few years. So that beauty may not be with us much longer.

It's breathtaking.

The way it juts out like that I think is what does it.

Stone solid. I love rock waves and giant marbles. Sentinel stones too. Here is one called Priest Rock. It watches the coming and going of ships at the entrance to Dutch Harbor, Alaska.

Ice waves are cool too.

Now all we need are videos of shots like that and that we'd have really quality content on our hands. What do say
lighmere, up the ante.
