I think the anti-Israel protests should be allowed, however, there should be a climate where all sides can air their views. This does not exist at Berkeley.

Berkeley is a left leaning campus. (I know a lot of you are thinking "gee that is an understatement," but there are plenty of moderate and conservative students there who are not highly visible and vocal.) As such, left-leaning causes are allowed to freely express their views, but right-leaning causes are silenced by the PC police or even threats of violence.. I met one former Berkeley student who received death threats for writing coments in the school newspaper that were perceived as anti-islamic.
