If Death is real then are we Fake!

When you think of dying, you visualize going into blackness when your life energy leaves your body. But in reality, you ARE the life energy that leaves your body. You are not your body, you are the life that is powering it. You don't die, your body does. You have no beginning and no end, in reality.

It's because we're so focused on external stimuli, on the physical senses, that we aren't able to use our "other" senses when our vessels die.

Are you saying we are not our bodies? How does one arrive at such a conclusion? I would assume because we've been told our whole lives that we are somehow paradoxically separate from our bodies.

One needs only to look in a mirror to prove this theory wrong. One needs only to pinch himself, smell himself, experience himself and his whole life's memory to know that we are our bodies, our senses, and our memories. The impossible task of finding any example of someone existing without a body is left only to the credulous and quick to believe in romantic ideas.

The computer you are using right now...is the data in the hard drive the computer, or is the computer simply the medium through which the data is expressed?

Does it make sense now?

One needs only to look in a mirror to prove this theory wrong. One needs only to pinch himself, smell himself, experience himself and his whole life's memory to know that we are our bodies, our senses, and our memories. The impossible task of finding any example of someone existing without a body is left only to the credulous and quick to believe in romantic ideas.

Pinching yourself does not harm your soul. Oh really? How about the people who regularly undergo out-of-body experiences? Are they simply imagining? There are dozens of credible military officials who will tell you that it's real. What, then, leaves the body? You can still feel emotions when you OBE, you can still think and you can still see and hear. So what leaves the body, if not the soul?

The body is controlled by electrical impulses powered and interpreted by our spirit. It is a vessel, nothing more.

This is a classical, strong mechanistic view at things, but it's not necessarily right. Not even science would 100% agree with you - for example, it is still entirely unclear how the brain "creates" our mind. Feel free to explain how neurons, synapses etc. actually bring about consciousness etc.

The idea of body and mind/soul etc. separate is not really paradox, there is a reason this idea is in our cultures basically since the dawn of man already, in almost all religions.

Look at dreams, out-of-body experiences, NDEs etc...there is hints and evidence *suggesting* that our mind and bodies could be separate.

No. In no way does this give weight to the theory. We put the data there on our own accord. It does not experience things on its own. Take all of the hardware away from the computer, tear it apart and remove all inner and outer casing, the motherboard, the harddrive—what do you have? Still a computer? Or nothing? The whole idea makes zero sense and only further proves my point. Without the material aspects of the computer, it is no longer a computer, it can no longer calculate or contemplate its memory without the hardware. Everything, its spirit, its memory, its functionality is gone.

Nothing leaves the body, you are still in the body, no matter how far you imagine yourself to be out of it. Why do you feel emotions when you OBE? Why does one think, breathe and continue to live during an OBE? It's because the body is still functioning. Look at dreams, do you truly believe that your dream world and all of the emotions, sensations and imagery you experience in it is happening outside the body? Your eyes move, you become aroused, you talk in your sleep. The body is still there supporting you while you imagine yourself in far off lands.

How does one conclude, if they have never once in their life been without a body, that the soul is separate?

Just by your grammar and your ignorant response I'd say you don't know what you're talking about. Go listen to some Lil Wayne, that's music that's full of substance, that "try easy music", something with "profound" material, right?

It is no doubt that your body is you. What I'm saying to you is that you are not just your body. There is currently no way of convincing anyone through intellectualism, it has to be experienced personally.
