The Republicans in Congress did what is necessary to save the Republic from the insane leftist policies of the DSA and this socialist admnistration. Thank goodness they stood up to this guy and his communist minions.

Now I've heard it all! The President flopped the debate because he is sick. That's even more bizarre than Al Gores theory of Obama having to adjust to the altitude in Colorado.

Idealogical apocolyptic hate fiction...or the GOP platform...whichever. The disconnect from reality is growing to big to be bridged.

And here is the truth boys....Your party has gone so far right it is not floundering...it is failing.

And Americans are going to re-elect a president for the first time in history when the unemployment rate is above 8%....Cuz the alternative Bat-Sh*& GOP scares the hell out of them.

And honestly...the debates win or lose are not going to change that.

I like conservatives....I think they are a neccessary and cherished contributor in our political system, but the present day, foaming at the mouth, GOP? Microchips...Obama born in Kenya...Women don't get pregnant when raped...yada yada...those folks....they are on thier way out...They just cant see that flashing red light in the corner of the cockpit, cuz they are by thier nature unmoved by reality and facts.

Pres. Obama will win re-election, the house GOP will lose seats...and debates and all the SuperPacs in the world wont change that....that is the truth...

Well I'll be damned, I thought I would never see Romney tell lies more convincingly than Obama. I seriously would've been convinced if I already didn't know what each candidate stands for, of course both are liars anyways.

I have to agree. Like to point out the democrats had absolute control of the entire government for first two years of Obamas term and they would not pass his budget either.

From what I saw of the debates Romney sounded a bit dry, like he was just citing talking points and scripted sound bites. Obama on the other hand seemed to have more passion for the subjects he talked about, but seemingly could not simplify his points to talking points and sound bites, capable of being ingested by most Americans.

They say Romney won but not because of any truths, only because he "looked good" or "performed well".

They both either lied or mangled the truth. In my book the one who "wins" is the one thattells the truth, no matter how it hurts. We are in deep trouble my friends. These arent leaders, they are actors.

I think we are talking about who did well and who did not do well in the debate...can you quote one post here that suggests Romney has also won the race too? I can't.....

It's hard to figure out which is worse, the mouth frothing socialists having fits of fear of their impending defeat or the "neither of the above" crowd who pick up their marbles and go home, no longer wanting to participate because their "guy" is the "only hope".

My vote goes to the latter due them moving into the self-disqualified group apathetically hiding behind they're all the same, or there's no point as everone else corrupt.

There are honorable people in both parties as well as the greens or Ron Paul supporters. I now support Romney as he is in a position to potentially help the situation whereas Paul is not.

I believe electing Obama is not viable as the Republicans will have, at the least, control of the house and we end up with four more gridlock years. That is unacceptable. With Obama, no hope whatsoever. Romney? A definite maybe, IMO.

There is really no other workable alternative.

I watched Obama very close back in 2007/2008 and his speeches and his stance was much stronger. I voted for him in the last election. This time he seemed to put on airs, but beneath that he was flailing and it was clearly showing in the lack of energy and fight he had last time. I think he already knows that Mitts will be president, since that is what tptb want.

He won 2008 on "hope and change" and many were caught up in the moment of electing the first black president. His strengths were to tell his views in the form of life stories that charmed much of America. Four years later, does any of you know what his plans are to fix what he has been unable to fix? He talks how Romney doesn't go into great detail...I truly don't know any detail of Obama's plan.

He stumbled and stuttered and tried to give his answers in a story approach and just kept falling off confusing what the question asked really was. At times I forgot the actual question that was asked as he wandered around with his answer...I think he forgot the question at times too....hehe

What's up with Obama tonight?

He's struggling to remember his facts and points, and seems nervous and reserved. He's tripping over his words and isn't speaking with a whole lot of conviction.

Romney, while a bit of a bully at times by interrupting, is on his game. He seems to know his talking points inside and out---and is expressing himself very well. His energy is high.

Just a few thoughts twenty minutes in...

What say you?

No tv last night so I listened on the radio. It sounded like Romney had it even with the tv pic to show features etc. and after seeing it today on tv, I do feel sorry for Obama. He was not ready at all.

This was only the first debate. I believe the next one will be focused on foreign policy.

For entertainment purposes, I will give an opinion on this debate fiasco..

TO be honest thou, I have lost allot of concern passion and real hope for my federal government.. The only thing, I will say my federal government does a good job at is protecting us, from harm nuclear wars conventional etc. Our Military Generals in all branches our troops and secretary of state etc. They seem to do a good job at keeping us safe..

Now as far as this political farce with romney and obama, I am seeing or having to listen to people quick to judge the Presidential election..

In a nutshell, we have all heard what romney is promising before if you have been alive for 30 plus years, an American, and have grown up within our Televised mass media political coverage, we have been hearing the politicians promise us jobs, granduer etc. etc. since Reagan, hell even Ford if your older then me etc.

What happens? Usually nothing.. I will say, in the defense of our politics, the house and senate, has to actually pass some bills to FIX or work on all these BIG problems we have coming down the pipe. Social security, entitlements etc. So the next 4 years, MAYBE, will give the public some results when it comes to these so called politicians doing what is best for the PEOPLE, and not the party/lobbyist/personal megalomaniac ideals...

What makes me a lil bitter about my American, Politics in 2012, is reading history books. Reading about Adams, Lincoln, Kennedy, Roosevelt, Washington etc. These were either much smarter politicians then the ones we have to choose from these days because history was and is convinced they worked and made changes to AMERICA, and her people.....

Obama, has had 4 years, he made big promises, unemployment much lower then it is,
lowering the deficit etc.
hope and change etc.

I usually try to look at it like this, if 2 things outta 3 are right, then I am Happy.. If I had to use this philosophy with obama, I would say 1 outta three are right... he stopped the economic down slide and collapse..

I suppose...

Yet Obamacare is no where close to how universal health care is conducted in Germany, England etc.

Obama, care is a health insurance lobbyist wet dream....

Throwing Citizens in jail, fining them etc. for not having health insurance is not constitutional...

It is just one more instrument that can be used for establishments to fine and jail and acquire indentured servants...

Obama care will be FULL of corruption....

Sure we need to do something about our healthcare system.. Not like this thou...

Anyhow I am guessing Obama, is going to give one of his sermon's and the media, will be back on their knee's in worship, and the republicans will complain about the media...

way to early to judge this farce of an election...

If I had to make a choice between the lesser of the 2 evils..

I would chose the Governor... has Governed.. The President, I think has not quite governed as president...

No matter who is President the next 4 years what is important is doing our best taking care of our loved ones and our responsibilities..

I don't think choosing between these two is going to help that much...
