Gore: Obama’s poor debate performance may’ve been because of… altitude sicknes

hotair.com...

Just pay no attention that Obama has been riding around in his private jet (air farce one) for the last 4 years.

LOL!

'The bigger the smile...'

Tony Blair (aka the Anti Christ) springs to mind. He makes a Cheshire Cat look like a manic depressive.

Well he sure is a strong candidate for the first EU president.
Good change an EU president would be the AC (if there is ever such a guy), but don't think it's him. His smile may be big but not that big

I had actually thought about something similar during the debate. Obama just didn't look well. I wondered (actually, my husband did) if Obama has the sickle cell trait. Being a football fan, my husband recounted this story to me:

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark will sit out this weekend’s playoff game in Denver because the city’s high altitude can complicate his sickle cell trait and deprive major organs of oxygen. Clark, 32, was found to have the condition after playing in Denver in 2007, when he became ill and had to have his spleen and gall bladder removed.

Sickle cell trait occurs when a person inherits a sickle cell gene from one parent, according to WebMD. The person rarely has symptoms, though there can be serious health complications under extreme conditions or at high altitude. Sickle cell trait isn’t the same as sickle cell disease, which turns round red blood cells into abnormally curved shapes.

www.bloomberg.com...

Then again, if Obama had that trait, then they probably would not have agreed to have the debate in Denver.

Regardless of your opinion, Indigo, this President has shown that he can't work with Congress

Work with Congress??? Are you kidding me?

This GOP majority in Congress is the most obstructionist, do nothing, gaggle of foaming at the mouth idiots ever to occupy DC...not just my opinion...conservative think tanks like the Brookings institution agree.

We have been studying Washington politics and Congress for more than 40 years, and never have we seen them this dysfunctional. In our past writings, we have criticized both parties when we believed it was warranted. Today, however, we have no choice but to acknowledge that the core of the problem lies with the Republican Party.

The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

When one party moves this far from the mainstream, it makes it nearly impossible for the political system to deal constructively with the country’s challenges.

www.washingtonpost.com...

and he couldn't even get ONE Democrat in the Senate to support his budget plan with a vote of 99-0.

Regardles of reality...you continue to claim that the Presidents budget PROPOSAL was a bill. It was theatrics by the GOP. Never in the history of the USA has a Presidents budget PROPOSAL been slapped with a bill header and put up for a vote. Civics 101...Presidents PROPOSE budgets...congress enacts thier own budget and can take or leave a President's broad and non legislative PROPOSAL.

That there is not "opinion"...that is real world fact.

Regardless of whether or not you hold Congress responsible for all of this, it's a clear statement that Obama doesn't have what it takes to LEAD them and get support from them.

LEAD the GOP Congress? How do you lead idiots and obstructionists? How do you lead people that shout about gay marriage while tapping feet in an airport bathroom in hopes of a BJ from the cop in the next stall?
How do you lead folks that think women who are raped cant get pregnant? This effen congress should be in special school...not DC.

You do realize that airplane cabins are pressurized?...Or do you agree with Mitt that the windows should be able to be rolled down?

What's wrong, Indigo? Did I strike a nerve? You're starting to sound desperate.

Regardless, Congress is what it is. Now we have to find the person who we think will be the better fit to work with them, like them or not.

Actually, I think I have to agree with another columnist's opinion that I read today.

He was referred to as "Mr. Xanax President".

Would that be covered under ACA (Obamacare)?

Tell me, overly simplistic view person- what did Obama use in the numerous other debates, which he won?

Oh, that's an easy one:
In the 2008 debates, Obama used the EXACT same empty promises and lies he used last night (he's got 'em memorized pretty well by now)...Only difference now is, that back then, nobody knew how empty and false they really were.

At least back then he was offering empty promises with a little bit of enthusiasm.

I knew you were a socialist EarthCitizen, from your posting points. Thanks for making it obvious. Yes, the American people do deserve better than the Socialist-In-Chief. We deserve a real leader who still believes in Free Enterprise and the private sector.

Thanks

Yeah, he used "Hope" and . . . . um. . . . . . "Change".

Real specific, that Obama.

HAHA wow, what a post. Nice. I can't wait to see what happens round 2, this debate seemed a bit tame. Makes me wish I paid a bit more attention during the Bush/Gore debates.

Also, everyone bashing Romney because he had more time to prepare please shut the # up. Obama had enough time to walk on to THE VIEW and go to LAS VEGAS. Obama handled the debate like he handled this country: half-assed.
