I hope you will watch this and comment only after you watch the whole video. This should at least unnerve even the most prolific evolutionist. If you want to comment on this vid please don't be ignorant and insulting. Just be intelligent, precise and entertaining, following the example lay down by Kent. No reason to be mean here this is all science. Or is it religion ?

Randy, I like you and appreciate your input, but as a Christian I feel ashamed to have anything to do with the video you have linked. I lasted 20 minutes before I couldn't stand it anymore. This is the most ridiculous nonsense I have seen as an excuse against evolution. Not even just evolution in general, but cosmological evolution.

This sort of crap does intelligent Theists no good, imo. But you are entitled to believe what you like.

At any rate I seemed to have succeeded, my intention being only to suffice an apex of intelligent debate. I'm happy certainly not being a know it all here and finding interest in each comment.

A debate is a discussion using logic, reasoning, and evidence.... How can there possibly be a debate when one side has none of the above? Stop deluding yourself into thinking there is still some argument left for discussion.

I went to a Christian School... needless to say I now question organized religion, but also I do believe in God, and am Christian. I have seen this video in class. Dawkins is a militant well... I know plenty of Atheists who are well respectful. But I digress. There are some very valid points made in this video. I think it is wrong to teach theories that are not proven and un testable

See that's the whole point regardless of who thinks what. It's stupid to teach something that isn't fact and changes from day to day in my view.

I think Hovind makes some great points in that regard and you people can say what you want and that's that. I don't give a crap who likes it. I'm not here for anyone to like. Now how about that?

See the vid is old. No one can possibly think I didn''t take that into consideration. Sorry I think evolution is just another religion being taught in place of one that has far more clout and used a week vid to show that.

But most of you should know these things about me. I don't always play to be the most popular or well liked.

PHFFF !

Randy, I like you and appreciate your input,

See that's not what my posts are all about tho Saraph and I'm glad to have you say what you feel. You show the same cahounnies it took me to put this up. Don't think for a minute I don't understand the flames. I love the controversy and can find a way to make my point just fine. Likes and dislikes to the curb.

I think you're wrong

Even science will some day prove beyond all doubt there must be a Creator. It's the only logical way.

Well yes, the votes confirm something, people are finally waking up from the delusion of religion

You are correct about one thing, religion IS a massive delusion, but so is evolution.

Why? Because they both come from the same source.

That is why they BOTH have so much in common:

Has Science become a Religion
Science - The Illuminati Religion and Mind Control Tool for the Masses

Religion is used as mind control tool to HIDE reality and the truth just like evolution.

Religion, science, education, media are ALL used the same way and for the same agenda.

Until you figure that one thing out, you'll be constantly scratching your head and not knowing why.

Science HAS become a Religion because those in control of it are religious in nature:

One group and one group alone is responsible for virtually all wars and bloodshed on the face of this planet.

The cabalist group I refer to is the Synagogue of Satan, an ancient, yet modern, elite so politically powerful and so fabulously wealthy that even past history has been twisted, reshaped, and revised to meet its preferred version of humanity's gloomy, totalitarian future.

Religious in nature, the Synagogue of Satan is, at its essence, a grotesque, satanic cult. It's high council is composed of High Priests of Lucifer; these are men who literally worship death while practicing sexual magick and occult rituals of the blackest nature. The Synagogue of Satan

Aha excuse me for thinking you were a religious nut, good to see you are not.
but I don't see science as bad, but I also agree we shouldn't be teaching stuff like evolution as a fact, but we should be teaching it until we find better and other explanations. Religion, on the other hand, teaches stuff like the story of Adam and Eve as facts..

Sorry, but ever since the rise of molecular genetics, it has been proven beyond any doubt that all life of Earth (that we have studied) shares a common ancestor.

Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.

You will ALWAYS remain in the dark as long as you keep believing "official" stories...

Always.

It's not about belief, but understanding the data. You know, there are 100s of millions of sequence records in the GenBank database, all publicly available. You can retrieve the same gene, let's say mitochondrial DNA encoded cox1 gene, from thousands of different species. You can then go ahead and, for example, construct a phylogenetic tree. Here are some things you will observe:

1. The sequences of all primates including humans are more or less identical, and group together.
2. The sequences of all mammals also share very high sequence similarity.
3. The sequences from fish are going to be more different to humans than the sequences from birds.
4. The sequences from fish are going to be more similar to humans than to sequences from fungi.
5. The sequences from fungi are going to be more similar to humans than to sequences from plants.

All this, you can do yourself. It's not even very difficult and all the software you need is open source and available for free.

Mitochondrial sequences you can retrieve from
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

You can align them for example with clustalx www.clustal.org...

This will be a very basic analysis, but we all know what the results will indicate, i.e. you're just some ignorant kid.

p.s. while at it, explain to me why there are extremely reduced alphaproteobacteria inside our cells (mitochondria) and why the vast number of their genes are not in their genomes but in our genomes? Thousands of bacterial origin genes in human DNA, why?

a common ancestor.

Ohhh now we're getting down to it. A "common ancestor " for which there is no proof what so ever anywhere. No one has ever seen and is elusive as Bigfoot. Hell maybe it is Bigfoot.
So where did this " common ancestor come from ? Let me guess, aliens !

If all life comes from " a common ancestor " I propose to you young man that this" common ancestor " is our heavenly father and you have actually been duped by only something that is a simple half lie half truth. No less.
