Univision report connects Operation Fast and Furious scandal to murders of Mexican teenagers Read

“Near midnight, the assassins, later identified as hired guns for the Mexican cartel La Linea, broke into a one-story house and opened fire on a gathering of nearly 60 teenagers.
Citing a Mexican Army document it obtained and published, Univision reported that “[t]hree of the high caliber weapons fired that night in Villas de Salvarcar were linked to a gun tracing operation run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).”
That operation was Fast and Furious.

Eric Holder and his protectors Obama and admin, all have these childrens blood on their hands..

Univision identified a total of 57 more previously unreported firearms that were bought by straw purchasers monitored by ATF during Operation Fast and Furious, and then recovered in Mexico. This has to be the biggest cover up and scandal since watergate...

It is sickening that numerous murders were carried out with the guns holder gave to mexican drug cartels. Executive orders handed out to protect holder just proves.how.guilty and scared the admin is of.any of this.information getting out.

Univision is doing a better job exposing Obama than the US MSM…..This is journalism rather than agenda peddling and it’s good to see.

Obama and the left can’t take the Hispanic vote for granted anymore. Obama got punked by Univision last week and now THIS! I don’t think there will be many Obama campaign signs flying in the yards of Hispanics this year now that the truth is getting out.

Talk about October surprise!

Regardless of whatever was their original intention that operation got completely out of hand destructive. Anything done of this magnitude needs approval all the way from the top to let it take place. There must be accountability from high up.

The whole Drug War was never about stopping drug traffic but controlling that traffic. Realizing that, this arms-supplying operation may have had some other undisclosed purpose and objectives. This has back-fired and blown-up in their faces. Watch some middle-management stooge take the blame for it all. Neve let this happen again.

I was wondering when someone over there would man up and start giving us the facts as they know them.

In all this hoopla about the gun-walking, it seemed that the Mexican authorities were awfully silent.

Of course, there is a huge business connection there... they are, after all our "Partners in Prosperity" as the NAU was renamed. Perhaps there was political expedience in their silence...

Great catch... keep us posted!

Wouldnt surprise me some factions of the gov. are actually selling
these weapons to the cartels.

Holder and company could of been making millions on the side selling these maniacs guns.

Because of course without Holder no one in Mexican drugs cartels would have guns. And now that the ATF has stopped Fast and Furious the murders in Mexico will all stop.

Fast and Furious was a retarded ATF plan, but it certainly wasn't the aim of F&F for Mexican teenagers to be killed.

That being said, if we're gonna start a position to make it hard for everyone to get handguns and assault rifles, I'll happily sign up.

This is certainly the case. However, isn’t it refreshing that even in the face of drug gang murders and at great personal risk to their own safety, reporters (true investigative journalists) at Univision are still moving forward in pursuit of the truth? Isn’t that what US MSM used to be; fearless investigators seeking the truth on behalf of the people?

I applaud their actions!!

Holder didnt have nothing to do with it at all, let them kill each other and kids
with guns given to them by obama and friends.

uhh... and the blood on Bush's hands?

What is "Wide Receiver"?

"Wide Receiver" is the name ATF assigned to a group of gun trafficking cases investigated out of the Tucson, Arizona office beginning in 2006. Like Fast and Furious, it was supervised by ATF Special Agent in Charge Bill Newell. Sources indicate it involved about 275 "walked" guns. According to sources who worked directly on the case, the vast majority of guns were not tracked and Mexico's government was not fully informed of the case. Apparently worried that the gunwalking tactics could be viewed as inappropriate, federal prosecutors in Arizona abandoned the case. Then, in fall of 2009, Justice Department officials decided to go ahead and prosecute the case.

Uhhh…..Bush isn’t running for POTUS.

Bush was a civilian playing golf during the F&F debacle. Give up the blame Bush mantra already….as if that justifies Obama’s actions.

You seem to be missing the big point. This cannot be put on Bush, wide receiver was found to be flawed and stopped. Plus they at least tried to put tracking devices on the guns sold then. If it was already proven not to work why do you try again with even less effort made to follow the guns or even inform the Mexican authorities? Holder was in charge of things at the justice dept when F&F started. link

On December 1, 2008, Obama announced that Holder would be his nominee for Attorney General of the United States.[28][29] Obama praised his "toughness and independence." Obama went on to say that "[Holder] is deeply familiar with the law enforcement challenges we face: from terrorism to counter-intelligence; from white-collar crime to public corruption." Holder emphasized national security as a priority if confirmed, "We can and we must ensure that the American people remain secure and that the great Constitutional guarantees that define us as a nation are truly valued."[30] He was formally nominated on January 20, 2009 and was overwhelmingly approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on January 28 with a bipartisan vote of 17 to 2.[31][32] He was officially confirmed by the entire Senate on February 2, 2009 by a vote of 75 to 21.[33] becoming the nation's first African-American Attorney General. His installation took place on March 27, 2009 at the Lisner Auditorium of George Washington University.
Now the operation was startedlink

The Fast and Furious investigation was initiated in October 2009
Now remind me how this happened to be Bush's fault? Nine months into Holder's tenure as Attorney General? When does this administration own anything it started?

14 dead and 12 wounded teenagers just from this one shooting. How many dozens (or hundreds?) more have been killed with weapons supplied by the ATF.
Somebody should hang for these crimes but the way Washington works these days it will end in promotions for whoever was responsible.
Disgusting, saddening and absolutely unnecessary.
More "casualties" in the endless war on drugs.
Equivalent to shooting the patient to stop a headache.

If someone does something wrong and your in the good ol boys circle,

they just hand out executive orders like candy. They have almost perfect immunity.

Only way these guys get in trouble is if they get caught with a secretary.

If they know that congress (the American public) would disapprove they just do it secretly or by executive order. These thugs won’t let anything stand in their way.

It’s said that F&F is one of the biggest scandals in modern times with a cover-up that runs all the way up the chain of command yet hardly a WORD from the 'in-the-tank' MSM!!

Only way these guys get in trouble is if they get caught with a secretary.

It didn’t hurt Clinton. He would have won a third term if he could have run again.

I think YOU are missing the point.

Why do you think this happened, Fast and Furious?

Did Holder, or Obama want to arm drug cartels and kill Mexican teenagers?

Would either of them have said yes, if they knew all the crap that was gonna come from it?

Or where they, like Bush, sold a bad idea from the ATF?

If you think for just a second, and remember all the bad stuff, under Dems and Republicans, that the ATF has done, and if you think, how, once it was learned how bad this was, how much PURELY POLITICAL CRAP this would stir up, from the GOP who honestly know that NO ONE wanted this to happen, then it all starts to make a bit more sense.

The attacks, like this thread, are political.

The defence, the hiding and what not, is political.

It's NOT because anyone anywhere wanted this to happen. And the main cause is, guess what, the ATF, yet again.

The GOP has repeatedly and publicly said that their ENTIRE AIM was to make Obama a one-term President. Not save the economy. Not stop Mexican kids from being killed. Not anything, but attack the President politically.

The ATF SHOULD be LAID OUT for this, but they can't be, because right now, in Washington, neither side will act maturely.

Obama just appointed the wife of the owner of Univision to be a UN representative ---

This is a ploy by the Obama administration and Univision to enact a UN confiscation of guns in America.
