You know what I think? I think area 51 is a giant hoax. If they were to hide aliens anywhere, it would not be there. I think this because area 51 has become so famous that they had to have moved it somewhere where noone would suspect. Why not Antarctica? Why not a large urban district, where noone would guess? Give me your opinions on what you think.

Okay. But if they moved it, it would have had to have existed in the first place, making it a posible hoax now, but it hasn't always been.

I think Men in Black showed it best with the scene in the Post Office. It is so true. Have you never met, known or worked with someone who just seemed to be the guy who would be the alien. I think they are here already and there is no real reason to keep Area 51 alive unless there is something there. Either way, does it really matter? The next time you are in a store after midnight, especially a Wal Mart, notice how strange the people look working there. Strangely shaped bodies, large eyes, big heads... looks of inbreeding but....

For the last time there is no alien at area 51. There has never been alien at area 51 and Area 51 hasn't moved. Okey??? Area 51 is just a poor air force base not a giat Alien hotel. But Area 51 does exist.

Not necessarily; the groom lake facility (the 'area 51' moniker being just the facility's location on the AEC grid) does have the longest runway on this planet. On top of that, if you're familiar with runway construction, for all we know that runway might be capable of supporting weights no other can handle. speculation on that last part, but yes there are valid reasons for that place to still be in operation.

Just think of it this way.

Back when the Area 51 Roswell crash was reported in 1947 we had little if any tech knowledge. Also in the "centuries" previous we had none.

Now 57 years later we have all this advancement? Come on. It's so obvious where this technology came from and the reason they have kept Area 51 is that those who were sent to find the missing craft and those who have been sent to find the next one are held and housed in Area 51.

Please don't spew on me how we advance 50 years for every 10. Why only since the 50's is this so then?

Area 51 hasn't been 'Area 51' since 1958. It was originally an Atomic Energy Commission designation. As for the aliens, from what I've read, any and all alien related items, including bodies were promptly moved to Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio. Though I believe that if there were indeed evidence of alien visitation, that evidence would be scattered widely among many different military areas.

What was Area 51, Groom Lake Range, is now no more than a test range for X aircraft and other equipment. No one knows who has control of the land at this point, whether it be the Air Force, or the Dept. of Energy. I had read that actually the Dept. of the Navy was in control of security at Area 51 and other 'secret' military installations.

What's going on at area 51 now? Probably test flights for next generation unmanned aerial vehicles, directed energy weapons tests, active radar tuning, that sort of thing.

Area 51 is alive and well. We spent alot of time looking at it in the Area 51/Groom lake research project here:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The rumors of the Dugway Proving ground being the new Area 51 don't hold water to me. From airspace issues to the fact that is pretty far away from the Radar Ranges and Black Project companies like Lockheed and Northrop in Southern Californai

I don't think there's anything going on at Dugway, either. I had an uncle that was security out there for about 12 years, and he told me and my mother a little of what was going on out there when he left. Of course, he wouldn't have access to something like alien technology, but from what I know, Dugway has always been just a straight up weaponry test range.

I have seen in some places where it was speculated that Green River, Utah was the 'new Area 51', but that doesn't make sense either. From people I know that visit Green River frequently, there was something military going on there for a while.

I'm reading Disclosure by Dr Steve Greer right now, and having already been confident in the reality of alien earth visits, I'm even more convinced that there is no 'Area 51' at all. That is to say that there is no single place where alien artifacts and/or bodies are kept and studied. According to the information that I trust, the technology was disseminated rapidly for study and development among many private government contracted entities.

The issue, as well as the material is so compartmentalized at this point that you would have to exploit hundreds, maybe thousands, of compounds and offices.

As far as development of the technology, I believe that Boeing right now is at the forefront of the push.

Area 51 have nothing to do whit alien. And I doent think that the Roswell crash has eneything to do whit our tech to day. There is no evidence that it was a alien craft. All Area 51 is doing is test flights for next generation.

What? You are completely disregarding and disrespecting the industrial revolution and modern warfare related research and invention!

Get real, man... Does electricity ring a bell? How about the combustion engine? Alternating current motors? Invention begets invention. Give humans, inventors, scientists, engineers, educators, and the power of money more credit!

On the contrary, Kal, I completely agree with Xon. Nice trolling, though. It's cool that you had something to add to this topic and I'm sure everyone appreciates your thoughtful post.

Area 51 is just an advanced testing range for the US Gov't. Many advanced aircraft and technology can seem if its from another planet - i.e. the A-12/SR-71 in the 60's.

Heck - if I saw the B-2 w/o knowing what it was, I would think it was a UFO.

I believe there is nothing extraterrestrial going on at Area 51.
It is simply a testing sight for cutting edge top secret USAF aircraft
however, I do think that the government sort of endorses the fact that some of the public mistake the test flights for UFOs as it can then be used as a diversion from the "real stuff"

Kal I think that you'll find at AboveTopSecret, the "majority" doesn't mean anything at all. This is probably not the type of forum you're used to trolling on.

I agree, I think the only things going on at Area 51 are aircraft-testing and things like that. The place is just too well known for there to be anything super top secret there.

when a place is too well known & famous, it doesnt really mean alot since nobody can enter, so its still a perfect place for secrecy

Area 51 is not only very active, but it is very real! Remember: Groom Lake A.K.A. Area 51 is a Research Center! It is NOT ET city. There are no aliens. The UFO reports are tracable to Top Secret aircraft that are being tested or used out of the base. The stuff you find at Groom Lake are planes like the B-2, F-117, A-12 Blackbird, ect.
