Every once in a while I check National UFO Center (NUFOC) to see what's going on elsewhere.

What a surprise that the current posts for Oct. 3 contained the same object and location, but from a different source and accompanying story:

I think that they're just misstating what "Jim Nelson"s role in it was -- the post at the top of that report says that he took the picture, the post further down says that he enhanced it, and there's no such picture in the linked photo gallery, so it looks like a misstatement at the top.

That said, when taken out of context and with whatever enhancements he's done, it looks less like a spacecraft than ever.

This sort of thing has been happening all over - many people taking credit for the photo, or taking credit for the report I wrote over the course of a few weeks worth of work. One site went so far as to attribute my report statements to someone else entirely as if it was their words. You all know the definition of what that is.

It's not surprising when an interesting photo or video comes up, that the dregs of the net will screw it up.

I've spent the best part of the last 24 hours or so communicating with several sites that have repeated the false reports some user put up on disclose.tv (disclose took it down yesterday after I notified them) and a video that was put up on YT. I think I've got them all squared away and am now waiting on YT to do the right thing with the video.

Such fun the WWW can be.

New Member, First Post

So, I heard about this on Coast to Coast AM a few nights ago. The story prompted me to lookup ATS, locate the thread, read ALL FIFTY PAGES and then register to leave my own thoughts.

Welcome NaeBabii, and nice post.I also have the time to read all the posts, and have been waiting for one of the talented members to make sense of Shooters photo. I admit I'm hoping her story and photo are truthful and real. The odd shape does not surprise me, early on one poster did say we don't know what angle of the craft the photo captured. If and when the real deal shows up, I have the feeling the shape might be so unusual to us, not the classic saucer shape we all know. In addition to the picture, Shooter's not seeing it is also very interesting. Stories of pilots intercepting craft which appear on radar,yet not seen, appear in past ufology? Technology to blink in and out of our spectrum of vision? Could stories of folks who have seen a craft, and sped away in great speed, actually just vanished in their vision? If "they"are out there, it sure appears hiding from us is a mandate they have. Anyway, have really enjoyed the ride, wherever it takes us!

Already mentioned:
CP3O-like mask on top of rocks and that by comparison those rocks can't be there.(30 sec before)
Round animal (pig?) face incscribed on square rock on top of rocks and facing road (noon).
Land mass to right of road that doesn't match or is missing in noon photo.

And here's another:
Person (or statue of) crouching behind the monument.(noon)



In the actual so-called UFO photo:

Head and body of shadowy person behind the shooter (water spots for his eyes), and
In her sunglasses a face like a voodoo mask.



Ignoring the UFO, how many anomalies does it take to convince people that the photos are FAKE.
Mr. Ritzmann, why don't you address these with your expert analysis?

I have been doing a little research. There are few reports of UFO "disappearing" as quickly as they appeared and a few more reports on UFO accidentally caught on camera. This does appear to happen, but it doesn't seem to happen as often as the ones who make their appearance and are visible for at least 30 seconds or more. A normal cloudy day could account for some quick disappearances, but there are no clouds in the Original Photo. Perspective is everything... some drones flip, twist, rotate, who knows what position this could be in? Or shape?

Also, a lot of posts are focusing on scenery. Again, I don't believe there is anything wrong with the background. I think this is all about perspective.

obtained directly from the camera", but this is not true.

Feeding the image files.abovetopsecret.com... into an online EXIF viewer we can easily see that the picture was taken on August 18th, and then edited with Adobe Photoshop CS 5 Windows on September 27th, three days before the thread was submitted.

This has been pointed out time and time again but no one seems to care. It is spoiling the fun I guess, looking at logic. Let them play. There is so much wrong with this story, but hey, not my job to drag anyone into the realms of intelligent thought. So much wrong with it all, and not one response to all these legitimate questions. That kind of proves it is untrue. Otherwise logical answers would be forthcoming.

Actually...

The expert analysis by Jeff Ritzman is based on his using Photoshop. And since ATS has a size limitation with regards to picture size, the photos were reduced to accommodate this situation before being posted up in a thread. And hence the photos have more pixel compression due to the conversion.

The owners and Mr. Ritzman have been more than forthcoming and have made the offer that any legitimate researcher that puts in a request for the original photographs for their own analysis will be considered. This has been said in this thread and also was made over the air nationally on Coast To Coast AM.

So your comments carry no weight as in your statement "The analysis says that the "photo exhibits ... clean and unfettered EXIF data, and files obtained directly from the camera", but this is not true".

So you'll have to excuse me for the following but when people don't read, pay attention or listen, there is only one thing left to do..
