Every once in a while I check National UFO Center (NUFOC) to see what's going on elsewhere.

What a surprise that the current posts for Oct. 3 contained the same object and location, but from a different source and accompanying story:

SHORE -- Bruce Widaman sent this report from Jim Nelson who states,

This sort of thing has been happening all over - many people taking credit for the photo, or taking credit for the report I wrote over the course of a few weeks worth of work. One site went so far as to attribute my report statements to someone else entirely as if it was their words. You all know the definition of what that is.

It's not surprising when an interesting photo or video comes up, that the dregs of the net will screw it up.

I've spent the best part of the last 24 hours or so communicating with several sites that have repeated the false reports some user put up on disclose.tv (disclose took it down yesterday after I notified them) and a video that was put up on YT. I think I've got them all squared away and am now waiting on YT to do the right thing with the video.

I have been doing a little research. There are few reports of UFO "disappearing" as quickly as they appeared and a few more reports on UFO accidentally caught on camera. This does appear to happen, but it doesn't seem to happen as often as the ones who make their appearance and are visible for at least 30 seconds or more. A normal cloudy day could account for some quick disappearances, but there are no clouds in the Original Photo. Perspective is everything... some drones flip, twist, rotate, who knows what position this could be in? Or shape?

Also, a lot of posts are focusing on scenery. Again, I don't believe there is anything wrong with the background. I think this is all about perspective.

obtained directly from the camera", but this is not true.

Feeding the image files.abovetopsecret.com... into an online EXIF viewer we can easily see that the picture was taken on August 18th, and then edited with Adobe Photoshop CS 5 Windows on September 27th, three days before the thread was submitted.

This has been pointed out time and time again but no one seems to care. It is spoiling the fun I guess, looking at logic. Let them play. There is so much wrong with this story, but hey, not my job to drag anyone into the realms of intelligent thought. So much wrong with it all, and not one response to all these legitimate questions. That kind of proves it is untrue. Otherwise logical answers would be forthcoming.

Actually...

The expert analysis by Jeff Ritzman is based on his using Photoshop. And since ATS has a size limitation with regards to picture size, the photos were reduced to accommodate this situation before being posted up in a thread. And hence the photos have more pixel compression due to the conversion.

The owners and Mr. Ritzman have been more than forthcoming and have made the offer that any legitimate researcher that puts in a request for the original photographs for their own analysis will be considered. This has been said in this thread and also was made over the air nationally on Coast To Coast AM.

So your comments carry no weight as in your statement "The analysis says that the "photo exhibits ... clean and unfettered EXIF data, and files obtained directly from the camera", but this is not true".

So you'll have to excuse me for the following but when people don't read, pay attention or listen, there is only one thing left to do..
