The whistle-blowers, who have the courage to expose and speak out against the atrocities that have changed and are changing the face of the world, are feeling the noose tightening around their necks.

A totalitarian global system, itself governed by a plutocracy, is, without a doubt, being instituted and those countries who do not align themselves with this system are being made to fall and/or change using whatever means necessary. False news, unjust laws, sanctions, and war are just some of the tools being used to crack down on any dissension, from an individual, right up to entire countries and regions.

Much of this is not seen (yet) in the open, but the time is coming when it will be widely known and by that time the system will be fully operational and in control. If you can't see it yet, just wait.

This is where things have been headed for a long time now and I truly do not want to see this system come to complete fruition.

The Video below is just another step in the direction of global totalitarianism.

NSA Whistle-Blower Tells All - Op-Docs: The Program

The filmmaker Laura Poitras profiles William Binney, a 32-year veteran of the National Security Agency who helped design a top-secret program he says is broadly collecting Americans' personal data.

For a little more information:

Thomas Drake, NSA whistle-blower on charges of espionage: Dissent has become mark of a traitor

On May 18, Democracy Now! aired an excerpt of a recent speech given by Thomas Drake, a National Security Agency whistle-blower who faces 35 years in prison on espionage charges for allegedly leaking information to the press about the NSA's overspending and failure to properly maintain its large trove of domestic spy data. He was honored with the 2011 Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling. Drake's comments were broadcast during the Democracy Now! interview with Jesselyn Radack, the homeland security director of the Government Accountability Project, the nation's leading whistle-blower organization. This video was originally posted by The Nation Institute.

"I am become death, the destroyer of worlds".
J Robert Oppenheimer

...........and now William Binney with his "Stellar Wind" brainchild

Whistle-blowers such as Binney & Drake are intelligence operatives/specialists with a conscience.

History will record that they tried.

I fear for America, and then the world

I agree with your comparison. Very appropriate!

Blowing the whistle on this situation is perhaps the only reason why these guys can sleep at night.

Binney has taken ECHELON and aggrandized it to the most loftiest of realms when it comes to intelligence gathering :S

None-the-less I still commend them for speaking up.

I wonder if William Binney has some grand quote somewhere which he'll be remembered by...

Respect,

"Can I get dressed at least"

Almost funny if it wasn't so scary and true!

You can feel the truth and noble intentions in his every word. Big cajones, too! Hooray, for the brother!

Too late the question is asked? While truth is often late when it comes to corruption, is it really ever too late for the truth? Hmmm...mebbe ignorance is bliss compared to some of the horrific possibilities.

Great job on this thread!

In response to the danger to his life: "I'm an old man." I can dig it. He's a man that's made peace with himself.

Or maybe a peace found with the truth that you can kill the man, but not the message. And if you do kill the man then his message gets MUCH louder.

I have a dream...

Chances are if this gets wings, they'll paint him as a mental case, fraud, or the FBI will magically find incriminating photos on his hard drive due to a tip off from an anonymous source. Much easier to shame the messenger, thus muddying the message, than to kill him.

Of course, having said that, messengers also have a strange habit of drowning in bathtubs, tripping and falling, having inexplicable and seemingly improbable single car fatality accidents, etc.

Firstly, star for you (and The GUT)

Well, I'm no Jesus fiend but..............

Then when I do my own research and find his claims have merit, like so many others, then I'll KNOW he held the keys to the kingdom.

What, are you some sort of a conspiracy theorist! (end sarcasm)

The NSA doesn't care any more.

But it's just one arm of an octopus with lots of tentacles.

Most NSA people might not have the slightest idea how the information they collect gets used.

But I bet the majority of it isn't collected for "security" reasons at all. It probably helps somebody prepare the next propaganda project. They probably do at least one of these every week.

I think people ought to step back and take a look at if they really want to go down this road much further, and if not, how they are going to start building a different road.

And yes, I'M TALKING TO ALL YOU NSA OPERATIVES OUT THERE PUTTING IN YOUR TIME TO HELP SAVE AMERICA FROM THE TERRORISTS!

Have a nice day.

YEAH, what l_e_cox said!! That was a delicious and brilliant piece of to-the-point social commentary.
.

And, yes, the sifting of trends and the resulting propaganda and spin--the new sociological narrative--is surely a part of that mechanism.

Laura Poitras is a gifted and brave woman. When she received the MacArthur Fellowship for her work, she was interviewed on NPR. She had moved out of the US ay least temporarily to work on her films. This is due to her detainment when re-entering the US. She has had her cellphone, laptop and written noted confiscated and not returned to her for weeks. When she does travel to the US, she leaves at her European home her laptop with her documentary work out of fear that it could be confiscated and never returned to her.

This is a very important thread and more people need to read it! Thanks for posting!

So the question you might ask is why are they monitoring US citizens? Who are they really looking for? Who exactly are the bad guys? They use the war on terror to categorize Christian fundamentalists and now have changed their wording to fundamental extremists. Perhaps this picture is much bigger then most realize. Perhaps this is a war for the minds and souls of men rather then just power and money. There is a reason why all of the secret societies that have ever existed were steeped in occultism. If you want to know the truth you first have to start asking the right questions.

Really? You can't figure it out? With enough relative data points, you can figure out who is and who is not a US citizen, and whether or not they are even real. Think about identity thieves, it would be much harder to steal someone's identity if the system is watching. It would also, and more critically, be that much harder for someone to create a fake online persona to hide behind to steer political debate. Before the internet, it was hard for foreigners to influence Americans about anything. Now they can show up online and act like Joe Blow from down the street. I love the foreigners who come here and try and drop their accent and try to sound if they are around
from here. I've caught many a brit here in the Dallas area trying to do that, and I think, who are they hiding from? Probably spies since Dallas can be spook central sometimes.

But the point is, its to prove whose who. We have far too many people hiding behind curtains trying to control the action to further their criminal enterprise or sway public opinion on global matters since America has the might and money to do what it wants in the world.

Take this site for instance. A good majority of those on here treat the others as being where they are from without really knowing at all. You could probably look it up, but who does that? Look at the Sandy Hook situation and how its driving the gun control debate. If you're not an American, why say anything, what do you care? You don't live here, you are not truly familiar with how we live. Your philosophy is not our philosophy. Yet, foreigners are chiming in and trying to drive the debate. What's their vested interest? See how easy that
opportunity is? An anonymous foreigner could tip the balance on gun control, and they could make it go either way, hell, they may be all for guns, so you never know.

And look at the people who support this whistle blower. It's supposed to be a secret program and it would be a boon to foreign intelligence to know about it so they could somehow figure a way around it. It would certainly bust those sleeper cell spies like those silly russians that keep turning up living in the suburbs like regular US citizens. And what side are you guys on? How many on this thread are really US citizens? How many are bots? How many are from a foreign country thats against the US? See how muddy the waters can be, even
you guys don't know whose friend or foe...

As I said above, a foreigner using a US media platform to steer the very political gun control debate here in the US.... sure the Brits are allies, but even their celebrities have no business telling us our business.

No one sees the big picture. What could they possibly use this data for? To check and see who is naughty and who is nice? Hardly.

www.npr.org...

If they create a profile of as many people as they can, with a certain degree of detail, they can within margins of error predict likely eventualities. Past/hindsight(ability to learn and introspection)+ Present= Future. The more data they have the more accurate their forecasts will be.
