The funny thing is, Aloha means goodbye. Any input or theories? Obviously the price of pork is being artificially inflated.

Aloha in the Hawaiian language means affection, peace, compassion and mercy. Since the middle of the 19th century, it also has come to be used as an English greeting to say goodbye and hello. Currently, it is mostly used in the sense of "hello"

Obviously not. Since I was the one that brought it up. Oh wait, context! Obviously Aloha has multiple meanings, but the way you say a word changes its meaning. As in: Aloha/ is hello and Aloha\ is goodbye. Just an example.

Obviously Colbert is really racist and thinks all Jews and people from Hawaii are the same. It has to do with pizza, pineapples and Canadian bacon. That's why bacon was discussed.

Aloha, literally, means to share ha, which is your breath; or soul, on a deeper level.

It is used as a greeting or farewell in the sense that you have shared of yourself in time spent with someone.

Not going to comment further than that without seeing the clip, just saying what the word means. No idea what Colbert meant by it.

Eta: link is not working, and I have not seen the clip, so no way to judge the context. Care to provide a summary, OP?
