The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry definition No matter how carefully a project is planned, something may still go wrong with it.

From the beginning of the primarys many already knew the outcome , Obama reelected .
Republicans threw the election from the beginning.
The republican primary had several candidates , poor ones at that. The main goal was to distract from Ron Pauls campaign and select a winner from the rest of the losers. Romney was not gong to be denied this time. The GOP was going to concede the election in 2012 and eliminate Romney from a 2016 run. The GOP , in it's efforts to stop Ron Paul, changed its own rules , basicly stripping state primary conventions from delegate selection. At the national convention the GOP gave Romney its blessing and full support. But the GOP did not consider all the information and effects. Romney is not only going down but is dragging the whole party with him
in every congressional race for 2012. Many republicans are distancing themselves from Romney even Paul Ryan and MSMs heavy hitters for the GOP like Rush and O'Riley.
Was the plan to only throw the election and not destroy the GOP ? OR ? Are we all being guided to select complete socialism of our own free will ?
From what we have seen so far, the debates will just be another distraction from whats really going on.

A very astute analysis.
S&F for you. There is clearly much more going on here than meets the eye.

Does anyone else smell a set-up? I'm thinking they purposefully nominated Romney as a candidate, just so we'd be forced to pick Obama again. After all, Republican and Democrat are only a game: the classic Realistic Conflict Theory. They work together to keep the 99% confused, which helps to keep them in power. And we never see it.... saddening.

Realistic Conflict Theory (RCT), or Realistic Group Conflict Theory (RGCT) is a social-psychological model of intergroup conflict.[1] The theory explains how intergroup hostility can arise as a result of conflicting goals and competition over limited resources.[2][3] Groups may be in competition for a real or perceived scarcity of resources such as money, political power, military protection, or social status.[2] Feelings of resentment can arise because groups see the competition over resources as having a zero-sums fate, in which only one group is the winner and the other, loses.[4] The length and severity of the conflict is determined by the perceived value and shortage of a given resource. According to RCT, positive relations can only be restored if superordinate goals are in place.

I think Romney was selected as a patsy by TPTB to fail, but Romney really believes he can win and I think that is what TPTB failed to realize, plus they didn't realize Romney would drag the whole party down with him, unless losing the election and destroying the GOP was the whole plan from the start. This is either a major fail by the GOP or a major coup for TPTB.
We lose again.
