A great clip in which Stewart neatly mock's Obama, AND explains why Romney got the nomination AND why he'll lose...

All in less than 10 mins... better "news" coverage than you'll see on any major network... def worth a watch!!

Sometimes his show can be dry, not usually, but sometimes..

That episode had me falling off the couch. I was like
"DANG he is tearing up Obama, he doesn't usually do that.."
made him look bad, and I thought that was going to be it,
but then he got to Romney...

but this begs the question how did Romney make it this far?
(shows other republican contenders)
Oh right..
Mitt Romney is the second luckiest dude on the planet

Oh man. Comedy Genius.

re-watch time, ya got me, I was resisting..

I get the feeling that Stewart, like myself, has no great love for Obama, but also thinks he a much better alternative than Mittens.. he also covered Ron Paul (who I don't like) and has had a lot more fun with Herman Cain than anyone thought possible...

I like Ron Paul. Even though I'm mainly liberal.

Stewart can tend to be quite biased,
but yea I think you're right about him not liking barry O too much.
On the other hand you gotta make fun of him while you can till November, just in case.

Rick Santorum just made be bust out laughing
"Obama wants everyone to go to college, What a snob."

Aww I'm getting nostalgic for the republican debates..

Jon stewart doesn't really support anyone in politics. If someone is dumb, he's going to show the stupid. its what he does
He has only ever donated to Anthony Weiner. The congressman who took those racy pics of himself.

I think he's closer to being a Dem than a GOPer, for sure, but at his core, it's all about the jokes.

Stewart always does a wonderful job at exposing the stupidity and hypocrisy of mainstream American politicians and their media cheerleaders. Many of the conservatives think he is biased, but as a Republican myself, I've never had an issue with him. I think he is an equal opportunity offender, just how I like 'em, and he realizes being anything different would be the downfall of his show, more than likely. Although I do believe he is a self-admitted Democrat or at least leans liberal, he's not going to bring that out in his show, especially since he has all kinds of people writing for him who may not hold the same views as him. It isn't what it's about.

And someone mentioned he had donated to Anthony Weiner's campaign. If I'm not mistaken, they were roommates and decent buddies in college so that was the only reason he did so. Again, if I'm not mistaken, I think he came out and lambasted him a couple times after the whole Weiner taking a picture of his wiener situation broke in the news.

I believe this is all spot-on.

His main target really, is the media... he def leans left, on some things much farther than Dems, on other things he's more centrist. I think he really, more than anything, wants moderate politicians, and understands, unlike many Americans, that the US system is a lot more extreme than needs be.
