I'm a bit of an exhibitionist anyway.... dont mind being watched if i know beforehand... as to be watched without knowing, well, i wouldn't like some Security type firm watching me or weirdo's but if there is a Lady on the other end then yeah.... fine!

It might be that I know a bit about computer security. But, when I unbox a laptop that I'm going to use, I'll put a sticker on the webcam. This is before I even power it on. Removing a sticker is really easy with normal finger nails and a moist cloth to remove all the traces that it was even there. In the old days there used to be a little red light on every camera to show that it was on. On stationary webcams, just use a piece of paper in front of the camera or point it away. I don't trust webcams because they are vulnerable through the Flash framework among other things.
