And why the hell would the Nazis want to bring bad luck on themselves? That makes no sense whasoever. ~$heopleNation

They didn't. I believe the Nazi cross as designed by the Fuhrer himself was supposed to denote a "flailing" instrument. The cross is spinning, moving forward, destroying everything in its path. Just like the Wermacht or German Army. A Juggernaut used with great success by Hitler to roll over his enemies. He called it BlitzKrieg or "Lightning War".

For the first time in history all elements of warfare were rolled into one great destructive force. The Tank, attack aircraft and mechanized infantry was a hitherto unheard of kind of combined warfare. It was invented by Herr Murderer, it was copied by the allies and used to eventually defeat the German war machine.

It has been in use ever since.

Hitler's hate for Jews goes to the end of WWI when 'stab in the back' was pointed as the reason for Germany's surrender. This 'stab in the back' was supposedly orchestrated by socialist and communist.

That's not the basic reason of Hitlers hate.

You have to go back to his early life as an aspiring artist and the people he associated himself with to understand Hitler's ardor for both Germany and Aryanism, and his equal hatred for all things Jewish.

Hitler was an obsessed follower of Richard Wagner. He watched all his operas and his 'ride of the Valkyries' especially inspired Hitler to 'save Germany'. He played it before each of his future speeches.

Hitler was an artist, a mystic, fervently moved by philosophy. Only secondarily did he see in the Jews the reason for Germany's loss in the Great War. Fundamentally, to him the Jews symbolized the exact opposite of the Aryan tradition, of the Aryan peoples.

Hence, Hitler's allowing Himmler to divert government equity to funding expeditions in Tibet. In the Theosophy of Madame Blavatsky, the lamas of Tibet supposedly possess a secret tradition and secret language of immense metaphysical importance.

Hitler thought in terms of spirit - and race, or genetics, was only considered to be the 'carrier' of these spiritual differences.

Everything Jewish was identified with everything opposed to Aryan metaphysics, and the Aryan ethic. And in fact, he's entirely correct in asserting that.

This is why the Hitler Youth sang songs like:

"We are the joyous Hitler youth,
We do not need any Christian virtue
Our leader is our savior
The Pope and Rabbi shall be gone
We want to be pagans once again."

Lenin,

was only partially Jewish

and nearly 80% of the Bolsheviks were Jewish

It was actually 20%

Because of its Jewish roots, Hitler hated Communism and thus on march to SU, they killed Jewish and official Communist as quickly as they could.

He thought the Jews were behind Communism, AND capitalism; to Hitler, they were both a 'ploy' used by the Jews to take over the world.

The Nazis developed a really sophisticated hegelian dialectic in which the Jewish bankers were seen to be the financers of both Capitalist and Communist tendencies, intending to use both of them to 'cancel' each other out.

Problem is, even if this were a real intention, it was hardly the intention of the 'Jewish bankers'. Hitler merely used this as an excuse to effect his agenda of killing as many Jews as possible on the European continent. Even his later design to attack the Soviet Union in project Barbarossa (which is highly symbolic, since Barbarossa was identified with the 'spirit of Germany' that would save the future Germany) was aimed primarily at the provinces in the Pale of Settlement, i.e Ukrainian and Belorussian Jews, which numbered at 3 million. That was the jackpot: Europes east Jews. As soon as the Germans began the occupation, the killings began.

I've seen the same symbol used in turn of the century US architecture that was built long before WW2.

There is a theory that the prevailing NWO dreamed up some kind of Mediterranean Renaissance about 1915.

Its based on the works of late 19th century artists and philosophers like Van Gogh (French), Richard Wagner and Nietzsche (German).

Most of the US population is as easy to train as Mr Ed the talking horse so....

I don't get it...what is the statement about the US population being easy to train supposed to mean? (and what does it have to do with this?) not trying to be an (donkey), I just don't understand this post at all - it seems like 5 separate, unrelated statements mashed into one post, with the main purpose being to pretend like the US population is more gullible than other populations.

I don't have the quote on hand. I think it is from "Hitler and the Occult" on History channel. When Hitler heard of the expedition to Tibet, Hitler is said to reply to Goering, "What does he think he is going to find there, the Holy Grail?"

So yah; he maybe allowed it, but hesitantly. It was Himmler that carried the whole Aryan thing to the next level. Where Hitler insinuated things, Himmler dug deep. His castle, ritual beheadings and endless archeological trips to dig up the master race were laughable. Himmler and his SS rights... Hitler just made everyone swear an oath to him unto death. That was good enough for him. Himmler was obsessed with delusions and fantasy.

If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with BS.

You mean "Islam"? Its not an "ism". Thats like saying Christianism. Actually I have. You haven't forgot about religious freedom? To practice ones own religion free from persecution is supposed to be one of the amendments to the US Constitution. Sadly mostly forgotten this day and age.

There is no reason to target another culture or their religion because it isn't like our own. Using those differences to incite hatred towards another people or nation is discriminatory and bigoted. At best. At worst, it is a precursor to war, which is what we have going in the Middle East right now. Or between the Irish Catholiocs and English Protestants. Or the Hindus in India and the Hindu Sikh in Pakistan. Or the Christians and Muslims. Or the Jews and Muslims. Lets see, what other conflicts in history are about that. Bosnia, Rwanda, Spaniards and South American Indians. The romans and the Christians. History is full.

Now what were you going to say ? Oh yah, go ahead, bash the Muslims extremists and blame them for it all.

If the basic premise of a religion is that those who do not follow their book, then those human are like animals, good only for slaughter. Islam religion teaches this with fervor and thus 'moderate' or 'liberal' Islamic is extremely hard to find. Those who call themselves, very quickly transform into monsters given even a little offense or provocation.

Also, read the history my friend, most gruesome genocides in the human history have been conducted by Islamic kingdoms and countries. In the last 500 years it is more true than any other horrific fact.

Now with that type of credit history backing them, would you be willing to LOAN them a couple of nukes along with the delivery mechanisms??

It is a major discomfort and scare for me atleast to look into a possibility where another Islamic country like Iran, which openly calls for complete destruction of Israel and its friends, in a possession of nuclear bombs and technologies to make many more. Sorry but I am willing to risk a war to deny them that monstrous capability. Good for the human race!

Good luck with your wars. It is risky you know. War... a game some think they can play just a little bit. And you know if a nation had nukes people would not be building bases on their borders to invade.

By the way, the worst historical atrocities have been carried out by white people. Usually in the name of God.

If some nations had nukes, then their leaders will have a free ride to oppress their people and keep women under head to heel veils even when the temperature is 110F.

What if Gadhaffi had nukes, he and his sons would still be kidnapping 15 year olds from their families and raping them along with other friends and regime related bastards. Same with Saddam and same with Talibian.

If Iran does not change it ways and plans then there will be a war. Not Vietnam style however! F22s will decimate Iran's nuclear reactors and push its capability to make nukes, back by 5 years. If Iran wants to take if further, then a comprehensive air and missile attack will lead to destruction of its air force, navy and power clusters of its ground forces. Not a right time for Iran to be a birthday boy expecting couple of nukes in hands.

Great thread OP and a definite S/F. This is the kind of thread that really defines ATS for me. Mystery of the past but with very possible links to the present. I've read quite a bit over the years about the Nazi's near fanatic obsession with religious and supernatural artifacts during the war. No telling what all they might have ended up with as it seems stories come from all over the world about their showing up to take things. I wonder what happened to it all in the end? Hmm... T

This statue is one I hadn't heard of. How interesting.... I'll bet by the end of the war they had enough to make the world's largest, most valuable and certainly most interesting Museum in the world. Stuff like this...

If, If, If is what I see you begin you theories with.
"If" some had nukes they could make women wear Burkas?

"If" Qadaffi had nukes? Qadaffi is dead. He never had any.

"If" Iran doesn't change its ways there will be war? And Iran's reactor will be bombed? Gee if that happened, the whole region, including most of the worlds oil reserves could be contaminated with radioactive Isotopes. Did you think this through?

Using a what if argument to suppose things that never happened or could happen is delusional.

Making idle threats and calling for war on a whim is ignorant.

But aren't you accusing Iran of "calling for war" and in the very same sentence using that as the excuse to wage war... on Iran?

Thats ludicrous.

Edit: Its also like the final solution proposed and carried out by the Nazi's. The state kept accusing the Jews of evil acts they hadn't done and cried for a "solution" to deal with the imagined problem. It is the same today.

We are accusing nations in the middle east of all these heinous acts that are contrived and then demanding something be done. The something is aggressive war and that is the real heinous act being carried out. You either have been misled about or are part of the same voice that wants to foment war by making false accusations. Which is it?

Were there a race known as the Aryans that descended out of the regional mountains...history seems to say so, are these the same people depicted in Chinese monasteries with white skin, blue eyes and red hair? Where these the Aryans Hitler was trying to emulate....

I believe the origin of Himmler's notions began in the early 19th century with Blavatsky's Theosophy movement (at least according to the intriguing book 'Secret of The Runes'

I recall reading there that the theory even inferred (perhaps even stated) that the Aryans were the nomadic survivors of Atlantis, making there way across northern Europe and settling to some extent in Tibet.

It's said that Himmler's Black Sun troop (dedicated to these ideas) went as far as using the severed heads of their 'purist' Nazis to communicate with those Tibetan Aryans who'd transcended to another plain of existence.

Wacky ideas, but they do go some way to joining the dots in the twisted mythos belying the SS under Himmler.

Even if this thread all but dies, i'll be hanging around to learn learn what you've discovered in your research on the Bon.

No body is stopping Islamic nations from building industries, good water system, growing crops, or starting businesses and living like normal people is the society. Nazis denied all these rights to Jews and many more, so much so that they were reduced to living 50 people in a room of a camp.

Only thing denied to Islamic nations are the Nukes and that too because of their demeanor and actions in the past.

There is no comparison to Nazis and Western actions today.

The topic is Nazis and their search for Aryan roots. Lets focus on that.

You mean "Islam"? Its not an "ism".

You really don't know a thing about this subject.

No, Islam taken alone is called Islam. Islam with a political purpose is called Islamism

This is precisely why you should be educating yourself more before you start mouthing off to people about the 'war on terror'.

The threat of Islam is a very real threat, very much not created by the west; do they take advantage of it? YES. They most certainly do. That's what makes it so crazy. There are literally two problem; western elites who want wars, and crazy Islamists who want to incite wars.

To practice ones own religion free from persecution is supposed to be one of the amendments to the US Constitution.

If the religion is compatible with the spirit of the US constitution, yes.

However, the basis of Christianity and Judaism is based in a God of reason; but as Al Ghazali - the greatest Muslim after Mohammad - asserts, Allah is a God of power; to say God can't act outside his reason - the position of Mu'tazalite i.e. great Islamic philosophers like Al Kindi, Avicenna and Averroes - is according to Ghazali, the Asharites, and the Hanbalites, to 'bound' God in fetters; it's to take away his pure free will to act irrespective of contingent realities.

This is a major theological issue. This is what the moderates in the Sunni world are trying to change, but they can't, because the mainstream of Islam has for the last 1000 years been ardent followers of Al Ghazali.

We live in different paradigms. The Islamic paradigm - is tremendously different from our own. Hence the clash of civilizations; hence the Muslim Brotherhood - who now controls Egypt, and is fighting for control in Syria and Libya.

Mainstream Islamic jurisprudence divides the known world into two categories: Dar Al Islam - abode of Islam, and Dar Al Harb - abode of war. They regard all non-Muslim territory as being 'war' - as existing in an existential state of 'war' against Allah and Islam. The ABSOLUTE AIM of Islam is the conversion, subjugation, and ultimate triumph against non-Muslims.

PS. sorry about derailing the thread.
