How could I forget John Williams? In fact, the other night my brother and I watch the theatrical version of the original Star Wars trilogy. It had been a long time, and I forgot how awesome his composing was for those films, for every film he was involved in, He is such a great composer.

One of the best scores/soundtracks in my opinion is James Horner's WILLOW.

Another of his fantastic work is GLORY.

ALIENS...wow.

COCOON...

These are all so magnificent in their own different ways, for different reasons, and realize that these are just "appetizers." There is no replacement for hearing the entire scores. Enjoy!

Here is a favorite scene from a movie that I loved. I think this a good use of music that really pushes the story to another level.

Just a quick movie description in case you haven't seen it...

The is a story about a dystopia where people are forced to take medication to numb their emotions and anything that might spark emotion (like art and music) is banned. They have a special force (grammaton clerics) that uncovers any hidden artifacts (art, music, etc), destroys them and executes violators. The protagonist, who is one of these grammaton clerics, has stopped taking his pill and is hearing music for the first time.

I liked this film it showed promise and delivered christian bale is a great actor especially
in this movie. It seems people nowadays need not a shot of the drug that induces a non
emotional state like in the said film.It has already started happening in todays society right
now.

Good movie star for you...
