I don't see that she used it as a swear word.

I expect Jesus Christ would be quite unhappy about the occurrence in China. How is it wrong to call his name out when such atrocities are happening?

Can't Jesus Christ do something to help? If not he, then WHO?

The claim is that it was on the order of the villages vice-mayor, who was working with officials to forcibly relocate the village for the construction of a highway.

i havnt read every post just yet, but to me i instantly thought of Triad.

Triad refers to the many branches of Chinese criminal organizations based in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Macau, Taiwan, China, and also in countries with significant Chinese populations, such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

"Vice-mayor" does sound like some official position for Triad members, lol. We complain about corruption here in western countries, but I don't think we can begin to appreciate the level of corruption in China - it is literally the "haves" and the powerful lording over the peasants.

Why are you laughing?
I would say there is a huge probability that there are many world wide government officials that are paid or pushed by big money and corruption.

Yup, this looks like a hoax. If someone was crushed by those rollers there would be a mess but I don't see any blood. Perhaps someone was run over, perhaps accidentally and the story morphed into this? Hmmm...

Please study the photograph where his body has been pulled up and into the internal mechanisms of the huge rollers. It is not staged or fake. You can see his hand as his arm is ....if you cannot see the truth...

Much Peace...to all the people who die needlessly and are ignored...

Welcome to China?

I don't know why American citizens move there.. fully knowing that at any time, the government can take the land their house is on. You don't own your land in China.. the Chinese government does. You can own your house.. but that doesn't do much good if they appropriate the land for a new mall or something.

This is sickening though.. and not unbelievable at all. China is one scary place.. people are brainwashed by way of fear of loving their leaders and praising them.

I see his arm but it looks like it could be laying on the roller. If this really happened it was brutal without doubt, but it's very suspect. Where is the blood? There isn't even any blood by the supposed brains, none on the wheels, none on his arms. Could this be a well done photoshop by the Chinese? I know that seems even more unplausible so this has to be real. Then I look at his shoes and I just don't buy it. You'd think that thing driving over his feet would really do a number but he still has them laying sideways as though he just climbed under there. Conclusion, it's finally happened. China has learned to photoshop and they are trolling us. God help us all.

Thing you gotta remember here is that the gov officials usually own the 'development company' in their 'spare time' or involved in 'consulting' for developers.
This is how they make their money, it's really sickening actually but this is the true Chinese attitude towards things, me,me,me,me,me.
They could not give a stuff about anyone else unless that person has more money or more power.
That's how it is here (I live here).

I went to Shanghai once. While reading the English version the local newspaper they had an article about a bank manager that was executed for embezzling money.
The amount he stole was a mere $2,000.
They also had an an article about several "bandits" that were shot on the Tibet border.

If you look up photos of Chinese executions you will notice one small detail in the back ground of most of them.
Other prisoners being shot at the same time.
They have developed Execution to almost an assembly line over there.

The world is so screwed up right now, makes me puke. Disgusting. This is exactly why I'm not comfortable with the idea of a government as we know it today; a bunch of greedy pigs making decisions that will affect the lives of not only me, but millions of my fellow citizens.
China may sugarcoat itself as the "People's Republic" but we all know what it really is. A Fascist state! Only in Fascist states do we see such horrible examples of the government trying to strong arm the people using such horrible means.

So, the Chinese government is no worse than the Israeli government, which crushed Rachel Corrie, a peace activist, who was protesting the illegal demolition of Palestinian homes. And the US government is worse still for subsidizing the bulldozer used by Israel and not laying any sanctions on Israel for its murdering a US citizen, and for allowing US companies to do business with China, which killed thousands of its own peaceful protesters in Tianamen Square.

That the Danish government actually wants to begin licking China's ass to safe our own trade rights and create a new economy with them just sickens me! I really begin to feel how unimportant human rights are in all "modern" governments and its just terrifying how they display lack of empathi and understand for the people who have nothing, while they keep posting millions in research for further control and surveillance.

You should here how our prime minister talk about the Chinese government, before she got to prime minister, her and her party always talked about human rights, but now when they are in power, the say that the human rights factor is a delicate matter because they don't want to miss the opportunity to have trades with the Chinese, and the worst part is, that the majority of the people from my country seems to be fine with that, so as long we secure our own buts, then # the rest. What the hell is wrong with people these days !

I love how my recent thread started in the Jokes, Puns, and Pranks forum was sent to the trash after a short period of time being up. It was a video about somewhere in China someone dug up an old fleshlight minus the outer plastic. The village nearby believed what was discovered was a legendary mushroom and news spread all over the place. There was a reporter at the village and a whole story about it. Getting back to my point, this was a humorous story which was created in the forum for humor and it was deleted. FOR WHAT?! It referred to a sex toy? One that you wouldn't even know what you're looking at unless you already have heard of the thing? Now I get on and come across this thread. Oh....and I love how the moderator who deleted it couldn't even leave a specific reason in the notification message, real typical. This thread is posted in the correct forum as was mine, but there's one thing strange here. This thread links you to very graphic images. Mine linked you to a funny video with a bunch of Chinese villagers standing around a bucket with a mushroom shaped object floating in it while being completely oblivious to what they actually have. Another example of why this site is going downhill in terms of respect and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I yet to understand certain decisions on this site, but it's commonly known that in many cases those in power really don't deserve to be there. I'll be heading over to another thread I saw earlier today specifically regarding my main point of this post......that is if it still exists as we all know questioning the authority isn't tolerated here.

If you want to see this video I'm talking about then I recommend searching along the lines of what I described here. It's quite funny as others agreed back when my thread lived.

By looking at the picture it looks like that roller is on public property not private unless the man lives on a paved road. The roller didn't seem to take him by surprise. how fast do rollers move any way??

He cracked under government pressure... oh well on to more pressing matters.
