Velociraptor in Melbourne

Dont know is this vid has been posted before. At first I thought it was CGI but to my amazement its not.

oh dear. people used to have pit bull dogs for illegal fights.

now they can have pet Velociraptor's.

on a serious note, these are from the people that are making the living planet.
two years ago they were touring the UK with their shows.
I took my little horror to watch and he sat there for a couple of hours open mouthed.
he loved it.

I'm envious; I took my daughter to see such a display this summer (Fruita UT) and she completely lost her mind. Odd, as she loves dinosaurs otherwise. From an educational standpoint, interesting stuff.

These Dinosaurs were made in a warehouse in Port Melbourne for the stage show 'Walking With Dinosaurs'. My brother in law made most of the rigs for them. I have some amazing photo's from the workshop. This is only a small guy.. lol! It's well worth seeing the show if ever you get the chance to. It has been travelling around the world.

That footage is absolutely incredible. Can't believe it's not CGI. Walking With Dinosaurs was on when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it.

Heh, cool, it's just a shame you can see the guy in the costumes legs so clearly, if they can cover them up it will be even more fantastic.

Look again; they're in London in December for a week after the end of the world. Then they come back from March 'till May in various cities across the UK.

Freakin lucky dogs.

Hope you get tickets and enjoy the show.

I'll have to keep waiting until whenever and hope they come back to my area someday.
