speaking expressly in probabilities, its bound to happen. life has proven to be able to grow and sustain in the harshest of possible conditions and for some bacteria, space is one of those conditions.

The universe is almost certainly not infinite; the mass of it can be calculated relatively accurately. Of course, nor is there any 'brick wall' to hit at the end of the universe.

So, what is there?
You sound so sure, no continuation of the universe because you know and no brick wall because you know.....so what else do you know?
The subject is " the universe is probably teaming with life"
What are you sure of regarding this subject?
I'm intrigued to know what you know.

The circumstances of the formation of our Moon are unlikely to be repeated. In reference to the Drake equation, it significantly reduces the "ne" factor. Consider the relevant factors - mass of the proto-Earth, mass of the impactor, angle of impact, etc.
