Speaking before the United Nations today, President Obama stated that the "U.S. will do ' what we must’ on Iran." Exactly what this means is debatable but, surely it is a sign to Iran and the Israeli's that the administration has taken a tougher stance on it's nuclear program.

He also condemned the recent anti-Islam film calling it "crude and disgusting." Saying that he "could not just simply ban it... and scolded those who denounce anti-Muslim speech but stay quiet when the target is Christianity." Further elaborating on this subject the President defends America's right to free speech, and says he always will because it is our right as a nation.

Obama also spoke about the recent killing of the Ambassador in Libya along with three other Americans. Stevens "embodied the best of America," the president said. "Today, we must reaffirm that our future will be determined by people like Chris Stevens, and not by his killers."

NEW YORK - Exactly six weeks before election day, President Barack Obama stood on the world stage Tuesday and warned Iran that the United States will "do what we must" to stop Tehran from getting a nuclear weapon.

In what could be his last speech to the annual U.N. General Assembly, Obama also told "Arab Spring" countries groping their way uncertainly towards democracy that they have a friend—and a role model—in America. But, he said, they must battle the forces of intolerance and extremism threatening what should be "a season of progress."

"President Obama began his address to the U.N. General Assembly Tuesday with a tribute to Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya who was killed in an attack on the U.S. Consulate."

At the beginning, when talking about true democracy.... right to assembly and to not be punished for having a different point of view than the governments.... OWS anyone?

At 20min.... "The future must not belong to the corrupt few who steal a country's resources...." ahem.... wtf?! That is exactly what the western forces and governments have been doing "liberating" north Africa and the middles east.

If there's one thing he does win at, it's appearing as a statesman. He sure does know how to deliver those double standards with conviction and dedication.

The world will see a gloom future when we eat bs like this for lunch.

This war is coming, soon. Once the MSM harps on about it at this rate you can bet your bottom dollar on it.

It sounds like everything you want your president to say, and everything you dont when you know what the truth is. Obie is good with that kind of thing.

Enjoy the ride folks, this one is going to be a real kicker!

The future should not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

I don't see why we're praising this man.

He gave a very good speech .... I'd give it a 9/10.
Too bad his actions over the past four years don't match the speech.
As for this quote ... it isn't 'slander' to tell the truth. Truth isn't hate speech.
Perhaps if more truth were told about the 'prophet' of Islam, then
more people would be free of the shackles of Islam.

Would be pretty awesome if he actually means back Iran up instead of Israel and nobody is getting the message.
