Since Republican candidate Mitt Romney has been outspoken in declaring he would support Israeli military action against Iranian nuclear facilities, asked CNN correspondent Erin Burnett, did that mean Ahmadinejad would be supporting President Barack Obama's re-election? No, he replied through an interpreter, "We do believe that the U.S. elections are a domestic issue and we will not get in the middle of that at all." Then he cracked a smile before adding, "I believe the people of the U.S. are not a war-seeking people."

He's right, we're not. Our government is.

...Ahmadinejad responded with a pointed lecture about how the United States should not be allowing Israel to dictate its policies. "Who is it who determines what the U.S. government must do? Is it the Zionists...? The U.S. government must make such vital decisions under the influence of Zionists?" Netanyahu's insistence, he said, "should be seen as a great insult and taken as such by the people of the United States. Who are these Zionists to dictate to the U.S.?"

www.foreignpolicy.com...

Mr. President, many of us in the US wonder the same thing.

It makes perfect sense as to why Piers Morgan felt so compelled to shut this man up at every turn. The more Ahmadinejad speaks, the more he shatters the media's propaganda.

It's a shame he's a "madman" hey?
Like I said in an earlier thread, everything he says makes sense, but whether he follows through on it is another matter. I hope Iran doesn't start anything, and am glad they haven't yet.

You know as well as I do that that was not from tonight, and that is what we were discussing. Sorry, I try not to feed the trolls.

The real question is... why would you believe Ahmadinejad?

I know I make a whole lot of sense when i talk to the cops.

I was busted for speeding once a long time ago in a Galaxy far far away. I was doing 114 (before that was a felony btw)

The cop asked me "Do you have drugs in the car"

I said "Of course not" "Only a nut case would do 114 with drugs in the car"

He nodded gave me my ticket and left....

Had I just finished a joint 10 minutes earlier and had a butt load more in the trunk? I'll say this, there is a good chance I'm as honest as Ahmadinejad is. I sure make sense though....

I recall reading a long time that he said "In Iran we dont have homosexuals like you do in the US".... meaning no gay pride parades... no gay marraiges...

Ofcourse he'll try to score browny points in the US while he is visiting the UN. Especially the younger crowd which is crucial to the birth of next generation/crops of politicians for the US.

Are we 'the good guys' simply because we allow dudes to become lovers?

He sure is a populair subject today.

I do have some feelings of sympathy for him and he is often right.
