Your post could be a textbook case for false equivalency, what you are(race) & what you believe(religion) are two very different things & yes if a grown man says he believes in the Easter Bunny he can be judged by that statement.

This is what the believers just don't get, to those of us who guide our lives with science & rationality the belief in ancient fairytales is no different than believing in the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.

Believe what you will, that's your right but it is also my right to judge your character based on those beliefs.

Bigots and logical view points don’t mix. What’s your point?

Exactly, just look at Mitt Romney.

I really do feel that you need to do a bit of introspection! It might benefit you greatly, and it certainly won't hurt you.

The guy has degrees from Stanford, Brigham Young, Harvard Law and Harvard Business School, and he rescued an Olympic Games that was going down the toilet. Yeah he's a moron.

You act like that automatically makes him an amazing or amazingly bright person or something,..

Do you know how many people I've met with esteemed degrees that were green as bird # about real business negotiating, let alone had empathetic social graces & knew anything about the streets --aka-- the real world? How many I've met - who don't have much common sense at all? More than a few handfuls I can tell you.

Just going to an expensive school your mommy & daddy got you into (even though your grades to get in were lies also -- (coughs) George Bush Jr) -- does not guarantee that you're actually going to learn anything other than to how to be a robot &/or make connections with other douchebags who don't actually understand shi# but obey the agenda well enough to not rock the boat & thus make bank.

I'm amazed some of these people can wipe their own asses. I'm amazed they get support from anyone at all.

"I stand corrected. He attended Stanford for a year before going on mission in France. Two things are obvious to me. One, you're not a Romney fan (maybe an Obama staffer?) And two, money does not always beget money. There are plenty of idiots that squander fortunes.

Tell us, how did Mr. Obama afford his education at various upper echelon schools? At least we know how Mr. Romney afforded such schools. "

I myself am not a fan of either of these asshats, so you can't call me an Obama staffer,.. but if a gun was put to my head to choose, it would be Barry in a heartbeat ONLY because it seems -- he or the generals under him currently -- are NOT playing ball with Israel on going to war with Iran & that's a-okay with me & everyone I know.

Mittens is begging to be Israels new yes-boy. He's suggested as much as re-instating the draft here for the possibility of "a large conflict" -- he's down with the neo-con zionits running the game & wants in on it imho. If Barry is a socialist atheist who is refusing to help get us into WWIII then he's easily the lesser of the 2 evils, no matter how many 1 bit Fox news phrases people throw around. (TIRED!!!!)

How ANY person could think Mitt is a cool, nice guy who would give a f%$# about you if you make less than Montgomery Burns is a mystery to me.

Why can't we vote "no confidence" on these things anyway America?

Related ignorance from the republican wonder boy...

Perhaps Mr. Romney isn't as ignorant as this makes you appear to be:

Although details have not surfaced, it appears that the University of Utah forced the 23 March 1989 Fleischmann and Pons announcement to establish priority over the discovery and its patents before the joint publication with Jones. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced on 12 April 1989 that it had applied for its own patents based on theoretical work of one of its researchers, Peter L. Hagelstein, who had been sending papers to journals from the 5th to the 12th of April. On 2 December 1993 the University of Utah licensed all its cold fusion patents to ENECO, a new company created to profit from cold fusion discoveries, and on March 1998 it said that it would no longer defend its patents.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) now rejects patents claiming cold fusion.[113] Esther Kepplinger, the deputy commissioner of patents in 2004, said that this was done using the same argument as with perpetual motion machines: that they do not work.[113]

Yeah I reckon it could be, but it's not. The only difference between judging one solely on the basis of their religious affiliation, and judging one solely on the basis of their race, is the word used to describe those two types of individuals.

Quite often bigots are also racists. There's not really a whole lot of difference.

Believe what you will, that's your right but it is also my right to judge your character based on those beliefs.

I agree.

Based solely on your comments, I believe you are most definitely a bigot, and most likely a racist. What's your judgement of me, based solely on that belief?

I did! The article definitely explains why Mr. Romney thought his statement was accurate. I didn't say that I felt it was.

I was in the third grade the last time I made a comment like that. Well done! That's quite impressive!

I know plenty of idiots who went to college. I am in school now, and I know idiots who sail thru and will get a diploma at the end. Having a degree does NOT = intelligence.

Besides the fact you're an Obama Lover, it this the best you can come up with? Do we still have...what was it now, 57 or 58 States in the Union?

The Romney Unit recently attended a fundraiser in LA. During it he talked about how concerned he was when his wife's plane had to make a forced landing due to smoke in the cabin.
His comments included this statement, which made my jaw drop open:

“I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I don’t think she knows just how worried some of us were,” Romney said. “When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But she’s safe and sound.”

So after i laughed my balls off, what did Romney's wife do with the oxygen mask? I bet she wore it like a safety helmet, with the little ropes under her chin..

Might be a nice case for myth busters, and see what kind of back-draft comes sailing in after you open a window..

Better question might be, why don't we have parachutes under our chair instead of life vests?

And jump down at a certain altitude?
