Hello all. Seems that I have gotten an I-frame virus of some sort and don't have any clue how to get rid of it. I am almost completely computer illiterate so if anyone could walk me through getting rid of it, I would appreciate it greatly! Thanks in advance! I have already run 2 different scans and neither one caught anything.

iframe is a server virus.

What makes you think that you have it?

Also...some more info would help. For example....What is it on(brand and model)? What is it running(OS)?

Up in my search box, I've seen Iframe pop up a couple of times when I'm searching for something. I'm on an Acer laptop using IE.

That doesn't mean you have the virus. Your search is just suggesting words.

You should probably sell it and buy a mac.

If that isn't an option.....I would take comfort in the fact that the search box uses a cache of keywords based on what other people are searching for and will display things based on popularity.
