1 IDF Soldier shot dead, another wounded in Sinai

That border has witnessed a lot more activity in the last 6 months. Recently Egypt moved military H/W there, after approval from Israel, for the first time since the 70's. This was stated as a "terrorist" attack and not blaming Egypt as a whole, but when 3 were killed in return fire who knows what the next retaliatory move will be.

The IDF only killed 3?
They must be off their game.
Usually they are more like 20:1 on retribution.

I believe that Egypt is getting ready for the war the Israelis are getting ready to start.
Sad state of affairs.

Reports suggest that the fighting was inside Israel's borders, so I doubt there will be any recriminations from them towards Egypt who they (the military at least) still have a close working relationship with.
