Look, this argument can go on forever.

We have many different ways of assessing the climate fluctuations over large scales. It's just not able to be as precise as giving a yearly actual reading which this data does.

We know there are cycles within cycles.

We also are damned sure that human's are causing unnatural interactions with the recent cycles.

Who is We? Over 97% of climatologists.

That's fine, you believe what ever floats your boat.

I will get concerned when the physicists freak out.

yea, because physicists know oh so much about the climate!

WTF??

Climatology is a very loose subset of physics.

Atmospheric physicists (particle if they need more in depth) are who climatologists (well, the real ones) go to when they need to know how particles will react in a given circumstance...like carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

But, hey, what could they possibly know about our climate...aside from everything that is currently known about it...

Are you serious in not knowing this?

You make no sense... at all.

First you say you will worry when physicists are concerned...then say climatology is a subset of physics

...then say that climatologists go to atmospheric physicists to get their information

How the hell does that make ANY sense. What would the need be for climatologists to exist, if atmospheric physicists know it already...

Did you seriously not know you're rambling nonsense?

So you wish to debate topics inside a science that you do not know the specifics of?

Climatology is a dumbed down physics degree. It's parent science is physics, but it has removed most of the hard science from the curriculum.

In fact, at my local university, you don't even need to take basic physics courses to get a climatology degree. Kind of a shame really. We would probably have a much more detailed view of our world if we hadn't dumbed down the primary science degrees to subsets.

Complete side for you, name the 'climatologist' that discovered the "greenhouse effect".
