Aw,you can never have too many videos of things like that!

Shame how some people would rather film life than actually live it,...especially when they'd rather do that than help another living creature.

"Goat in the water!"...
Maybe it was a goat-rescue training mission?!

Clearly training the piggie.

A swimming pig saved me in Hawaii. The owner was ashore the pig swimming and a outgoing currant caught me. I became exasperated, but I followed the pig and he knew how to cut at the right angle to get out of the pulling current. I fully believe he saved my life.

kudos to the pig.

but what sick individual was film the goat drown?

Goats can swim. the water does not look deep, looks more like he is slipping on rocks.

S&F for you and all the positive responses.
These are always so inspiring. So what if he does this all the time or it was set up.
A pig is intellectually equal to a dog and really very smart. This is why some people keep them as pets, (unfortunately many are really just pre-breakfast table companions) It is also why I find objectionable the man recently who allowed 1000 of them to starve to death because he was too lazy to continue taking care of them. He'll pay a fine or something and that will be the end of it.

I don't get why we cook and eat brave, kind and noble beasts
while at the same time protecting and defending human beings with special rights, consideration and mercy
who cruelly abuse or murder humans and animals? Why? Because the one can talk?

The animals very often prove to be more HUMANE by definition than these "human beings."

Time to change our animal cruelty laws.
This type of video (and we see them quite often on youtube) is a reminder:
Fight for those without voices but with hearts as big as our own!!!

This was Awesome. I wont show it to my wife because if I do she'd want one.

Science used to teach animals didn't use tools like humans do and thus humans are unique. Now we have video of animals making and using tools. Science used to say Chimps only mimic what they see humans do. Now we have video of chimps playing concentration games on a computer and can even find all the cards and count then in order when they are left with only a blank screen. Humans trying this failed miserably. Science used to teach that animals only act on instinct and are not using cognitive thinking like Humans do.

I think science is full of Crap.

I think you are an animal in the animal Kingdom. Get used to it.

Cute video, but does this seem staged or something to anyone else? I mean, if the goat was really in danger wouldn't the guy filming have jumped in and saved the goat himself?

If only Christians, Jews and Muslims could behave this way with one another...

Would a Muslim or Jewish person allow the pig to save them? Semi-serious question. Oh and eating bacon does make you smarter.

I agree a million percent.

Animals are smarter ( I don't know if that's even the right word) in their own ways than arrogant humans. But noooo, "science" doesn't agree with me and probably a majority of the population of this planet.

I had to do no study to know this intuitively. Not bragging, just trying to convey why I agree that science is full of crap.

I wonder if he trained the pig to do that? That'll do pig, that'll do.

Well, it has officially been declared a hoax!

In the video, a goat appears to be struggling to stay afloat in a pond when a brave pig swims up to it, apparently all on its own, and nudges the goat to the safety of the shore. What looked to be a candid, amateur clip was in truth elaborately staged, with animal trainers, scuba divers and humane officers on hand.
