I know its another animal based theme but couldnt resist.

After watching this I dont see how anyone could say animals dont have compassion or feel sympathy.
The pig in this vid shows more "humanity" than the guy filming who does nothing.

Aw,you can never have too many videos of things like that!

Shame how some people would rather film life than actually live it,...especially when they'd rather do that than help another living creature.

"Goat in the water!"...
Maybe it was a goat-rescue training mission?!

Scene1, take 30......... Go!

No I don't think the goat was drowning at all, he just could not get up that step without a leg up, I think the goat and pig live together, maybe on a farm and its a regular occurrence. Not that it makes it any less cool, just don't think it warrants the sensationalist 'pig saves drowning goat' headline.

Good avatar by the way, what a film.

Anyone who thinks animals are soulless, either never raised an animal or, he was raised to live without a soul.
I have no doubt that someday, future generations will think of us as brutal savages who did not know the meaning of compassion.

I knew eating bacon made you smarter.

This was Awesome. I wont show it to my wife because if I do she'd want one.

Science used to teach animals didn't use tools like humans do and thus humans are unique. Now we have video of animals making and using tools. Science used to say Chimps only mimic what they see humans do. Now we have video of chimps playing concentration games on a computer and can even find all the cards and count then in order when they are left with only a blank screen. Humans trying this failed miserably. Science used to teach that animals only act on instinct and are not using cognitive thinking like Humans do.

I think science is full of Crap.

Yeah, really.

How about forwarding the clip to PETA and let them ask him?

My impression is the pig was trained to do this. Listen to the command at the beginning.

"Goat in the water...goat in the water..."

Over here they always come with an excuse, it's nature course, humans should not interfere.
But on the same time for example when there are too many swines, they shoot them in great numbers.

I would like to meet the guy who threw the goat in the water and then grabbed his camera to film this. It seems completely set-up to me. I'd like to toss him in the water and film him while he struggles.

To train this pig in this manner, he would have had to repeat this exercise many times, I would think.

Nature's compassion!
That is hands down the COOLEST thing I have ever seen in my life.

If only Christians, Jews and Muslims could behave this way with one another...
