It's still a bad time for the Japanese and their Fukishima reactor.I do know that the microserviets are the way th that they measure the radiation, sounds like a very high content of radiation It as if their government are as good at hiding things from the world as any other government.

I don't know what they can do about a situation like this, but I wouldn't let a child of mine attend a school in that area unless the people in Japan don't have a choice in doing so.

So, they removed some soil and replaced it with "clean" soil and this is what they call decontamination?

Somehow, I don't think that's going to cut it.

Not just that, where do you think they put the contaminated soil?

well they bury it in fields next to the towns and schools. dont worry its buried deep under good soil.

It's a shame too, to do that under perfectly good soil

Why not just home-school? A short life, likely of not being able to be fertile is a terrible thing. Education isn't everything and well, it can be learned through the internet. I just wouldn't let my kids learn there ever until it was normal again.

I wonder if the half-life length works in Japan's favor. 10 years from now there will be less radiation, right?
