What's in heaven (or paradise) for women specifically?

This afternoon I was in a discussion with somebody, and we spoke about the eight South Africans who were murdered in a terrorist attack in Kabul this Tuesday.

There were rumors that the terrorist in this case was a woman.
Then we started wondering what women actually get in heaven according to various religions.
There was once a rumor that Islamist men get a number of female virgins, and so forth.

That made me wonder how other faiths consider that question.

Some seem to believe that there will be gender equality in heaven.
Perhaps, since there's no more birth and death, the material reasons for female subjugation will become unnecessary.
Some even say there will be no more gender in the afterlife.

However, having no gender will be hell to some, so perhaps there will be a "benign patriarchy" in heaven, and only women who feel happy to be subjugated will be allowed into heaven?

72 virgins, who have their own 72 virgins but chooses not to copulate with any of them? So there will be at minimum 5,185 people in that one mansion?

In the christian view of heaven gender will not matter, there will be no male or female.

The gospels cover that in a few different verses, such as

Mar 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

I know that In the Mormon version they continue to be wed and produce spirit babies.

Apparently, women have to be virgins to get into Paradise. Then they get ravaged by the men that martyred themselves. Since they wouldn't be virgins any more, they would then be promptly thrown out.

I think there's a train of thought in some fundamentalist religion that women won't appreciate heaven as a liberation if they don't experience oppression on earth.

So perhaps, just to take off a burka in public can be a reward reserved for paradise, or having a glass of wine.

Generally, earthly misery is seen as rewarded in heaven.

A Third World woman may be told by a priest that even if she suspects her husband of philandering, or having HIV, then it's still better for her not to insist on a condom within marriage because her "reward" will be in heaven.

So many female martyrs for "heaven", but what does that mean?

It is a misnomer that all (most, even) suicide bombers are motivated by the "virgins in heaven" bit -- there are usually financial, personal or familial issues involved.

As our genders are very much a part of who we are, and there is no evidence that we are completely different people in the afterlife, it seems very unlikely that there would be no gender. NDEs and experiences related by people who are in the final process of dying consistently tell of seeing people and recognizing them as "Mom", "aunt Susan", "Grandpa", etc -- indicating that they retain their gender.
