I really wish the GOP would stay focused on the horrible economy, or the fact that Obama had to use QE3 because he has failed.

Or even his horrible foreign policy that is causing embassies to be burned across the ME.

Or even Fast & Furious.

Or even ACA.

I think Obama created this flag so we'd talk about it instead of the issues.

But S&F for providing me a forum so I can vent.

I think that before the GOP can start talking about those things, Romney needs to tell America his policy plans so that the GOP can compare & contrast.

It is just a campaign tool, and every campaign in the entirety of our history has used some modified the flag to show their patriotism or lack thereof. Some people like them some don't. Nothing sinister going on here just a way to make more money to annoy us with commercials all October long. This is right up there with some of the stupidest crap I have ever heard....desperate moves from a desperate group.

BUT...ya know, nation flags DO sometimes change...someone makes a design and then the people vote for or against it...

But this...this trying to induce some kind of fear based knee jerk reaction from the herds of mindless sheep is despicable...and they will get what they deserve for their fear and hate mongering...what goes around, comes around...even to the sheep that propagate and fall for the stinking piles of wolfsh!t....

While I see and agree with your point that it's a campaign tool, I would point out the examples you provided are not flags....just images in the flags colors.

And I don't know if you're referring to this post as a fear-mongering, but it was not intended to be that way. I simply want to know how others feel about this issue.

Obama's failure stands alone in the epic histories of presidential failures.

As far as the flag you posted, well it looks like something a kindergartner would draw with crayons. Its just like the man it represents, pathetic.

You can call me crazy but I believe that if Obama stays in office he will attempt to redesign our flag, remember the whole "fundamentally transform America" saying that he used? Well just look at the words for what they mean. To fundamentally transform something means to change it at its most basic and founding principle. It is to change the fundamental makeup of something.

Obama is hell bent on "transforming" us into a country under his absolute control. He even has his own symbol, I can think of several other leaders (rulers) in history that had their own symbols, Hitler with his swastika, Chairman Mao with his badges, Joseph Stalin with the hammer and sickle, and several others.

You are correct, one does not preclude the other. However, given Romney's habitual nature of flip-flopping on most every issue during his political career, I would find it prudent for Mitt to publicly state his policy positions clearly and concisely to American voters. Until then, he holds/has held the same position as Obama on almost everything. It's difficult to call out the current POTUS policy if your policy appears to be much the same.

How about enter the Obama and the rest of the 530+ tyrants in DC are just that, tyrants that do everything except for what they are prescribed under the Constitution to do crowd. Or how about enter the Obama and the rest.of the.politicians in DC are liars and you can see the proof anytime they open their mouths crowd.

I really love you ASSumers, I never said Obama was a commie, socialist, or Kenyan. I personally don't believe he's any of those but I do blieve he is a narcissist and a totalitarian that has no respect for our form of government or our governmental process. The man has openly said that the Constitution is too restrictive to his change, he has said that if congress fails to act or doesn't act in accord with his agenda that he would bypass congress with EO's and so far he has done just that.

I don't dislike him because he's black (actually half black but he never mentions that), I could care less what color he is or what religion he is or any of his other personal beliefs. What I do care about is that oath he took when he was sworn in because I too took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and when you walk all over the constitution, trample upon it, and ignore it you are committing the antithesis of upholding the Constitution.

I dislike Obama because of his blatant and openly public contempt for our rule of law and Constitution. Hell atleast Bush didn't publicly flaunt his tyranny.

And to set the record straight, the only thing I am fearful of is a cage and that's exactly what the US is turning into, a cage with crooked and corrupt politicians as the cage keepers.
