Lately I have been thinking about the logos of companies and the symbolism used in it.

I saw the logo of apple and I am thinking about who took the first bite ?

Who took the first bite of the apple ?

I think that many people like to take their own first bite of the apple.

But what is the company saying to us through the logo ?

IMO , they want to say "we are the elites , we take the first bite , you should eat the remaining"

No its pretty much the designers way of making sure that you know its an apple and not a cherry.

Could you please tell me for what idiotic reason anyone would have such an idea and actually use it, when the point is to create a successful product?

Even though I'm not an Apple fan, the logo looks very much like an apple, and it's quite cute.

Personally, I think that would be backwards.


Going by that philosophy, they would also be saying;

In the era that people were much ignorant about symbolism , they began this and now they are enjoying their old reputation.

I don't insist on my theory , but this can be true.

They have used science very well to improve and invent , but their symbolism is still there.

Even if his example was bad, the point is valid. It could be mistaken for a peach, for example.
The bite gives it the proper scale and is therefore unmistakably an apple to the vast majority of the intended audience.

What is the point?
Where is the gain in that?
To whom are they conveying this message (except you)?
Where is the power in "symbolism"?
Why would anyone do that?
