Can you imagine the cries of indignation from the Chinese if this had happened to the Chinese ambassador in the USA?

I think the US could benefit from a Chinese embargo. lots of jobs could e created. people have shown they will pay for an iPhone vs a cheap cellular competitor. or mp3 player for instance. there's lots of $50 mp3 players out there but peeps want to pay $200 for a iPod.
too bad our voice doesn't count. I bet we could craft a great country together.

Apple's iPods are made by mainly female workers who earn as little as £27 per month, according to a report in the Mail on Sunday yesterday.
The report, 'iPod City', isn't available online. It offers photographs taken from inside the factories that make Apple music players, situated in China and owned by Foxconn.

This is a video of anti-Japanese protestors surrounding and throwing objects at the US ambassadors car in Beijing.
Eventually security guards arrive and move the protestors away.

We bombed their Embassy a couple years ago and China was kind enough to not push their nuclear button and kill us.
We've done far worse to China than they've done to us.
