I want to run for President as an INDEPENDENT.

OK ATSer's, I have decided that I want to run for PRESIDENT as an INDEPENDENT. I am an average JOE citizen, ex military, ex government employee and ready to get my hands dirty. SO, now all that I need is some wealthy backers who want to jump on board. I am tired of all of the childishness the current Presidential candidates are showing. I see it as they are just playing with us. I don't see any reason to vote for either one of them....

SO......VOTE for ME....

I would suggest waiting until at least 2024 as Gov. Jesse Ventura is considering running as an independent in 2016. If he does, he will win and will be a two-term president.

there are over 120 million registered democrats and republicans.

jesse would have a hard time getting the electoral votes he needs.

maybe if it was a popular winner take all election, he'll win.
