So I think Penn makes a good point in this video. What makes perfectly sane people believe crazy things? If conspiracy theorists even believe in
semi-outlandish things they get called nuts, tin foil hats etc. But if someone tells you they really believe in talking snakes they get a free pass?
FEMA Camps are far more plausible than sky fairies.
It touches a bit on The Gut's thread about the Aviary, where they believe that everybody is delusional but it does not have a negative consequence on
their lives - such as believing in gods and miracles and magic powers.
